They are great for when you want to watch movies on your phone, iPad, laptop, etc, or when you just want to drown out outside noise and listen to some good music!! The noise cancellation feature is my favorite thing to use every time I have these on. Definitely a well worth it buy!

Too bad I should of got them in the pink red color! They don’t get dirty the moment you put protection. Different modes you can set up for EQ as well. Noise cancellation is good. Very sturdy and charge fast!!!! Best investment yet

They have some of the best audio I’ve heard and the noise cancellation and transparency modes simply complement this experience. I love the new features of this headset, and any Apple fan will enjoy AirPods Max. The price is steep, and if you’re someone without an Apple device, this may not be the pair of headphones for you, but I would say that anyone who does decide to buy these headphones will enjoy using them for a long time.

When I want to be alone, I activate the noise-canceling mode. When I want to hear what's going on around me I listen in ambient mode. Very amplified, with excellent sound.

Staging is lacking and narrow -- expected with closed-back headphones. Noise cancellation is excellent. The major drawback is lack of a wired input that can bypass encoding. Even with Apple's sold-separately cable, the stream is re-encoded to AAC inside the headphones. However, these are my go to for travel and convenience when not at home.
