I sent mine out for service, came back quickly with a good outcome.

Amazing but flawed

I’ve never been more disappointed with a purchase. I’m mainly disappointed because the quality is the most superb I’ve ever had for a headphone, yet they’re pretty much useless if you naturally generate a lot of heat (condensation) as I do. I worked out in these air pod maxes because I forgot my Beats Pro 3 at home one time. Unfortunately that’s all it took to ruin the most expensive headphones that I’ve ever purchased. Now it sounds like tiny firecrackers underneath a blanket, specifically in the left pod. Albeit when the product worked I’ve never experienced anything better. But for one workout to ruin it without any sufficient warning on the lack of water/moisture resistance is insane. It’s taken this occurrence for me to research how much of a major issue this is. This issue should completely be proactively announced so that measures to protect from this type of damage/experience are taken. It’s too expensive and amazing of a product to end up ignorantly ruining it with normal headphone use. Well I guess this is a great Apple care advertisement.
