Sony Better Sound than IPod Max’s

Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Bought these along with the Sony WH 1000-XM4, both on sale. iPod Max’s we’re still $500 vs Sony $279. Build quality of Max’s were fantastic, but the sound was about the same, maybe better on the Sony’s. Bottom line is sound, so I couldn’t justify twice the cash for Apple’s premium build. Max’s were also much heavier than Sony, 1/3 less battery life, less features for adjusting your listening experience, no app, and only turn off when placed in the “bra” storage device. Sony’s are highly customizable for sound, 30+ hour battery, folds into a small, light travel case, and if they break or get stolen—I can buy another for the cost of the Max’s. So I really wanted the Max’s to be better… but they aren’t $250 better than Sony. If they were $50 more, I’d have kept them and returned the Sony’s.

Yeah, Didn't Tell My Wife..

Yes, if you prefer apple products these are great. I enjoy the quality, sound, and control. I use these every morning to start my day. The charge life on battery is good not great but a lot is going on so i get it. Ordered a full case to set them in daily and use for travel. Thumbs up from me.
