I love how great these headphones sound and fit great!

although this iteration of the airpods max is barely different from the original one released four years ago — the only things that have changed are the transition to USB-C and new color options — this is still the best premium over-ear headphones for the apple ecosystem. the airpods max continue to offer seamless pairing, fluid device switching, quality sound, excellent noise cancellation and transparency mode, as well as unique aesthetics. worth purchasing if you can stomach the unchanged $550 MSRP.

I bought these for my granddaughter so my review only reflects her delight in getting them. She was thrilled and said they'd be helpful in her studies in electrical engineering at Georgia Tech by blocking out noise and chatter. They look great and arrived quickly, very well packaged, too. Best of all I saved over a $100 by purchasing at Best Buy!

Absolutely stunning in both sound and build quality. The Midnight color looks premium, and the USB-C port makes charging convenient. Noise cancellation is top-notch, and the comfort holds up even during long listening sessions.

I absolutely love these headphones. There is a noticeable difference in quality from the original ones. Love that these are C charger rather than the lightning cable that the 1st ones were. My daughter loves them also and uses hers every day. I’m still amazed by the noise cancelation. Makes travel feel like you’re in your own private world. Really happy with them!

Coming from mostly a earbuds wearer these feel and sound great. I tested them at max volume and very little sound leaks through. Its not too over powering and doesn't sound like you are losing anything at lower volumes.

Great sound quality and noise canceling feature. Comfortable to wear

Hurt my head a lot when I first started to use them. I usually use them in the noise cancellation setting because it makes me feel like my equilibrium is off and makes me a little dizzy. Noise cancellation is nice once you get use to it. When it’s on blast, no one can hear your music which is nice. It could be louder like beats but they are not bad. Compared to Dr. Dre’s beats id give them a 8.0 on a good day. Battery life is excellent it last days with me not charging it.

I recently bought the new Apple AirPods Max as a gift for my dad, and wow — I can honestly say they blew both of us away. From the moment he opened the box, it felt like we were unboxing something from the future. The build quality is premium, the materials feel super luxe, and the attention to detail is exactly what you’d expect from Apple (if not more). Now let’s talk sound: absolutely phenomenal. My dad’s a bit of an audiophile, and he couldn’t stop raving about the spatial audio, the noise cancellation, and how crisp and full everything sounded — whether it was his jazz records or a phone call with me. He even joked that he was hearing parts of songs he’d never noticed before. Mission accomplished. BUT… let’s be real — the price did make me hesitate. They are definitely on the steeper end, and I had to pause for a minute (or three) before hitting “Add to Cart.” That said, seeing how much my dad loves them and the fact that he uses them every single day makes it feel almost worth it. If you’re thinking of splurging on someone special (or yourself), the AirPods Max deliver serious quality. Just be prepared for your wallet to cry a little.

These are good quality headphones and look nice but when it comes to noise cancelling headphones I'd go with Bose QuietComfort Ultra over these. The Bose are lighter and better noise cancellation. However, if you want apple headphones that are noise cancelling then these are still good headphones.

These are the best sounding headphones. I own them all and these are the best. Not really great for heavy activity but will stay in place for most work outs. I highly recommend

The AirPod Max's are absolutely incredible. The sound quality is rich, detailed, and immersive—easily the best I’ve ever experienced in headphones. They’re also extremely comfortable to wear for long periods thanks to the soft ear cushions and breathable mesh headband. The build quality feels premium and durable, and pairing with Apple devices is seamless. Everything about these feels well thought out, from the intuitive controls to the long battery life. Yes, they’re pricey, but the experience makes them worth every penny.

Very easy to initiate use. Light weight and the sound is clear and rich. Headphones turn on when placed on head and off when removed. Pleasing blue color too. They’re worth the price I believe.
