Owned for 1 month when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I found the Apple AirPod Max’s to be heavy and a lot less comfortable than equivalent Sony and Bose headphones, however the main reason I got this was the equivalent headphones from Sony and Bose don’t have a physical volume control. I had the Sony one but those touch based swipe controls are really bad. The other issue with this is that you can’t really carry them easily in a bag or by itself. However for my use case the AirPod Max are fine. I use it for watching TV, and I had to buy an external Bluetooth to connect and so cannot control the volume using the tv remote.

I bought them while they were on sale ($100 off) and i had about $100 in reward certificates so i bought them. They are really nice, no doubt about it.. Are they worth $550? Hmmm, im still 50/50 on that.
