Great range, speed, and feature set
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I specifically bought this to counteract the problem of having 2 xboxes and not being able to have more than one xbox connected to Live at one time. Using some instructions online, I was able to get the advanced setup configured properly and have been very impressed with the range of the wireless over the mode/router unit provided by my provider (Brighthouse).

Neat, simple, must have for iOS users
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. Before getting this the router I had was weak in wireless connection. The WiFi was unstable and AirPlaying to my Apple TV was extremely poor! But the moment I added the Apple Airport Express on my network, I can AirPlay with no problem. My connection was constant and my wifi signal reached three rooms down in my home.

Incredibly Easy to Set Up, Excellent Range
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.Installation is a breeze thanks to the Airport Utility software. This product can create a wireless and/or wired network, join an existing network, or extend another Apple router's range. USB port makes your USB printer a wireless printer. Digital and analog audio out allows for easy audio streaming to any audio system that has analog or digital audio inputs.

Airport Express - Good but not Great
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. The unit was purchased to extend my wireless network to some remote areas of the home (3,000sqft). I does the job as designed but does not carry wireless AC technology and the speed does suffer.

Serves its purpose kind of
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review. We bought this to extend our WiFi range, set up is ridiculously easy now compared to what I read on previous reviews. My issue is that instead of just extending it has messed with our computer backups and there is definitely a lag when we are out of range of our primary router and it links to this one which has messed up streaming at times. Overall it serves its purpose and has extended our range from floor to floor

Good product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.AIrport Express is relatively easy to set up as a base station. However, I was setting it up to extend an existing network. Had issues trying to give device a unique name so accepted default which was the same name as the device it was extending. It later adds a (2) beside the name in the AirPort utility. This wasn' t in the documentation I was looking at so it threw me off a little. Also, I'm not getting the signal power I was anticipating. Would be nice if there was someway to evaluate before purchase how powerful a signal is.

Excellent router/repeater
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I bought this device to extend the range of my Wi-Fi network. My main router is an Air Port Extreme. The Express is smart enough to know when its powered up that it is going to be used as a repeater. You use the Air Port Utility to set it up. I had it up and running in just a few minutes. Caveats: It uses the the same SSID and the main router - so you will not necessarily know which router you are connected to. Also, it has only one ethernet port - so you will need a switch to connect more than one device directly to the router. Not a problem for me. It also has audio output so you can use AirPlay to send music over your W-Fi network. (It has optical output in the audio jack just like a Mac) Digital to analog converter is not state of the art, but good enough for most people. Lots of fun to send music from an iPhone over the network to powered speakers etc. Data speeds are excellent. Have not used it stand alone as a router since I have the Extreme.

Great product
||Posted .This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.I use this product for everything. I have my desktop, MacBook, iPhone, Apple TV, smart tv, and an iPad connected in my home. I can see my network with an app on my phone no matter my location. It took a matter minutes to get everything setup and connected, and that's several devices. I live in a 2 story townhouse and download large files, some over 1gb.
