Q: What is the difference between a "Modem" and a "Router Router"?
A: A modem is used to receive the internet signal from your service provider and a router is used to distribute that signal to your computer and other devices that uses the internet. It’s routed to your devices by wireless and by wire also.
A: Yes it extends both the 2GHz and the 5.2GHz WIFI channels. You can also plug an ethernet cable into the back of the express and add a wired device or a hub for multiple devices. I have 4 of them around the house for extensions.
