I use this in various settings up to 100 feet and I have had no drop outs. When using with an iPad be sure to download the app on wifi before leaving home so that you can access it and set it up.

I was a little disappointed with this range extender I think I will buy a new router it was nice to use with music from my phone

A great product for people with long apartments/houses to extend their internet into rooms with a weak signal. Also great way to play music (airplay) throughout the house at a comfortable level.

This is the second AirPort Express I have purchased, replacing a ~5 year old Netgear router this time. Easy to set up. Very good signal and connection speed -- not the best, mind you, but very good for this price point. You will not be disappointed.

If you already use apple products, setting up and using this router for your normal, non-high tech uses is easy. It's a great home router. If you don't already use apple products, it may be slightly more difficult to set up.

I absolutely love my Apple Airport Router. I previously used a Netgear Router, but it would not always connect well with my Apple products. The Apple Airport is perfect with my iPhone, iPad, and Macbook. I also love using the airplay feature! Great product!

I bought this to extend my current wireless network so that I had better access in all parts of my home. For the most part it's done the trick.

The Airport Express handles multiple devices with ease. It's a capable router and was easy to set up using my iPhone. It doesn't have a strong enough signal to allow me to stream Netflix in my backyard, but I can still stream music. I recommend this highly.

Reliable, consistent, simple and elegant. Sure there are fancier ones. And there are cheaper ones with more features. But if you want a wireless router that practically unpacks itself out of the box and sets itself up, you want one of these puppies.

Without this really portable router, I would be stuck studying abroad with an Ethernet jack and two useless hunks of metal (my tablet and smartphone). Overpriced, but significantly better to carry around than any other router, plus beautiful and easy to use.
