It literally took minutes to set-up the AirPort Time Capsule. It has now been running for two months without incident. I can use wi-fi with my iPad and iPhone anywhere in my home. Wireless printing via wi-fi is the same.

If you own an Apple computer, this is the best router/backup solution all built in to the same device. Use Time Machine to automatically backup your computers, while having the fastest wifi available.

I have had the Apple Time Capsule (original) for a couple of years and decided to upgrade to one with more storage thinking that the only difference would be the storage (500GB vs. 2TB). Not only did I get that upgrade, but the range of this new Time Capsule is much wider. I can go all of the way to the end of my street and still be on wifi!!! Also I have much better service with my attached Airport Express for Airplay. I had some issues with the original TC and Airport Express and Airplay. NO problems with this new one. My only complaint is this one is kind of an odd shape, but it is not a big deal. Great product, and no other company makes one in this price range that does everything that this does. You can't go wrong with this. It is well worth the money.

Despite assurance from every direction that it could not be done, I took the chance and purchased my AirPort Time Capsule to use in our RV. We also use the Verizon MiFi for Internet access while traveling. That results in two wireless networks and no means to connect them, since the MiFi Jet Pack does not have an Ethernet port. However, IOGear makes a device, GWU627, that is a Universal Wi-Fi N Adapter. It plugs into the Ethernet port on the AirPort and communicates over the Jet Pack's wifi network and thence to the Internet. Connect to the AirPort's wifi network, and your browsing activities will go through the AirPort to the Jet Pack to the Internet, and you've got your Time Machine backup capability along with your Internet access! It works!!

This is by far the easiest router I've ever setup. The installation is very easy and it just works. I have 2 Macbook Pros backing up to this and it rarely needs to be restarted. The range of the device is very good.

Although I have only had this router for 2 months, I already love it. It works perfectly, no drops, and it's very fast. I even got rid of my old extender router that I used for watching Apple TV on the back deck. I am now downloading movies from iTunes on the deck much faster than I was with the Netgear extender. Also, I can now use all my tvs that have Apple TV connected to them, as computer monitors. Before I had the Apple router, I was never able to make the connection. I have completely changed all of my devices to Apple, and I doubt I'll every go anywhere else. They just work better.

The Apple Air Port Time Capsule has been a great solution to our wifi needs. Easy to set up, long range antenna and built in back up. It is the best solution we have been able to find yet. Expensive, but worth it.

Easy setup with apple products. I used my iphone and only took 5 mins to get it configured and running. The time capsule works seamless but the first backup from my MacBook Pro took long time and the incremental backups are satisfactory. Very good range an improvement from my old airport express but the performance in speed is the same.

I had a cheap router for a while and finally wanted a good one. I went to Best Buy to get the regular model without the hard drive but I was informed about this model and since it was only $100 more to get a 2tb hard drive I was sold. Got home, took it out of the box,unhooked my old one and hooked up the new one and I was online 30 seconds later. With my macbook it automatically backs up periodically to the external hard drive in the router. Could not be easier. I recommend getting this product fo sho

Of course this is a wireless router, but also a seamless backup unit. If your like me you don't want to have to think about a back up. This makes it easy.

The best solution for a router and storage combo. Very user friendly set up can be up and running with basic operations in 10 minutes. The automatic back up option to sync with a Mac has worked flawlessly.

Love this device! It has worked better than any router that I have ever had with the added bonus of backups and storage. I would recommend this product to everyone looking for a storage/router device.

Love the time capsule and the simple plug in and forget about it ease of use. Backs up regularly with no effort and the router is as good as any other top of the line router. Setup is also very simple.

I've been waiting to buy this for way too long. The much needed boost in wifi range has been a great update along with being able to handle all the devices we have(2 MacBooks, 2 iPhones, a kindle, an iPad, a Wii U, Xbox, a Roku tv and an Apple tv). Apple wins again at making the process of setting it up as easy as possible. Just plug it in to power and the modem then just catch the signal with Airport utility and you're all set. The other big reason was for the extra storage space. Now all of the photos, movies and games that we have can be saved and backed up on the drive making it easy to share with each other and use on multiple devices. Couldn't be happier!

As a non-techie I will start by saying that nobody makes things easier for people like me then Apple. It took me a couple tries to get my Apple Air Port Time Capsule set up but once I did things became incredible easy for me to back up my Mac-book Pro laptop. Just set a schedule and the two devices work seamlessly and wireless--set and forget. The added benefit of my now extended home WiFi network range is a big plus also. Before adding the Apple Time Capsule I had little to no coverage on my back patio but now I can connect in no time and the signal is never dropped. Kudos to Apple again for making a product that works so great and is so easy to use for us non-techie types.

Easy plug and play. Instant signal on all Apple devices. No problems setting up smart TVs, printers, or work Laptop! The quickest we've had.

Great product. Love it. Very easy to use with either an iPhone or Mac. Love that my MacBook backs up automatically to the time capsule. Fast wifi. Would absolutely recommend this product.

Great and easy device to set up. Extremely easy to use when IMac recently had hard drive issue and needed repairs. Time capsule provided seamless data transfer back to iMac with nothing lost.

We are really happy with the quality of this product. It replaced our router with better speeds and higher quality and gave us 2T storage as well. This thing is plug and play totally.

Easy set up; Convenient back up point; Dual band; functions beautifully although it can run a little warm.
