    These headphones function just as well as the older ones with the regular connection. Aside from not being able to charge the phone while still using the headphones, this is a good product.

    They don't last any longer than earbuds purchased from Five Below or your local pharmacy (which actually have better sound)... they regularly fail within 10 - 17 months, so sometimes they're replaced under warranty and sometimes not.
