Better than the cheap stuff

Unfortunately, the cheap pairs don't last very long before the sound stops working or the cords start fraying. Even though these EarPods are the 2-3x the price, they last a lot longer than the cheap stuff...iif only my kids would stop losing them.

Also, like the Apple chargers, they seem to not last as long as other brands do. Teenagers tend to wad these things up and stick them in pockets and apparently the wiring isn't exactly durable, because they end up frayed and one side will quit working.

This is the one of many. He goes through them quickly. But he likes this style when the expense of airpods aren't an option.
