These are a huge step up from the last models. They are defiently louder. The only change that some may not like is they plug into your charging port given the latest iPhone models. It doesn't bother me tho. I have a 7plus.

I realize that these are the older airpods, but I still love em and use them constantly.

The ear pods were okay and the performance wasn't Apple standards. Apple could have done a tad bit better with the quality and performance especially. Like rumors, just paying for the Apple name. Wasn't too satisfied with the performance and the quality of the product. Didn't last long at all.

The speakers inside the EarPods have high-quality audio. The EarPods with Lightning Connector also include a built-in remote that lets you adjust the volume, control the playback of music and video, and answer or end calls with a pinch of the cord.

I have some ear pod pro wireless headphones but there are times when I don't want to use them and risk losing them. Plus I thought these would be nice to have as a back up when the pro's went dead and no place to charge them. Anyway, these headphones sound good when they work, but the problem is the lightning plug does not fit will in my iphone 12 and even if it just gets moved slightly, the sound stops. They are ok if just sitting with the phone laying still on a flat surface, but I want to either be holding the phone while moving or have the phone in my pocket with the headphones plugged in. I am going to keep them as they were relatively inexpensive, but they are not ideal.

This rateros have a great sound, everything is very clear and the volume is very good
