Apple Earpod with lightning adaptor does the trick

The family member had requested the earpods as a Christmas gift and was very excited to receive them. She states that they work just as she expected they would. Sometimes it's Better to be Wired

Great Apple Ear Buds

I like that you can pause what your listening to while wearing through the control on the cord, instead of on the phone.
