Mind you, these EarPods sound great. They just don't sound better than the EarPods with the 1/8" connector. Worth the price all the same!

But, the headphones with lightning adapter sound exactly the same as the previous EarPods which connected with the 3.5mm standard. Which is a good thing. Though maybe the next ones they'll make look and sound better.
