terrible product but what you gonna doo?

They die after 3 months of moderate use. The cable shorts out near the "lightning" connector and then they are useless. I hate having to buy a new pair every 3 months. This is maybe the 12th pair that I've bought. I am not going to buy air pods, and every other alternative is worse. Apple is not going to fix this or offer anything other than extremely expensive alternatives, so I will continue to buy these doomed headphones. LAME.

Actual Apple product. I prefer the less expensive, wired earbuds, they have superior sound and don't have to be charged and don't get lost
