I had an old Nook I loved, but was it was dying. I tried one of the new cheaper $35 Fires, but that was not worth the money. Bought the IPad 4 a and have just about not put it down since. Perfect for my reader needs and internet access.

Best Small Tablet

Hardware is flawless and clean. iOS has its quirks on an iPad, but with the smaller screen the issues aren't as prominent. Still the standard tablets are measured by.

Great case!

I hand't noticed prior to buying, but one thing I don't like about the iPad is speaker placement. I end up cupping my hand over the speakers to funnel the sound towards me. This case has a built in channel in the case that funnels the sound towards the viewer, not the side. Pretty slick.
