I bought the refurbed iPad from Bestbuy for $200 less than the Apple price. It is all I wanted, carefully packed and quickly delivered, with one significant exception. I set up the new iPad and was using it plugged in, when it began to overheat and performed an emergency shutdown on itself. A check of Apple support online told me to: not use the iPad when plugged in, not use it in direct sunlight (a real problem here in Colorado); turn off Bluetooth if not needed; reduce screen brightness. The next day, I was using it without Bluetooth and in a shaded place (but still plugged in) and it again began to overheat. It was also warmer than it should be when using unplugged. I did further research with Applesupport and the tech at the Genius Bar in my local store, and it was suggested that I replace the generic cord and charger (30W) supplied by Bestbuy with the Apple cord and charger(20W) for the iPad. (Cost $40 at the Apple Store, a little less at Bestbuy). This morning the iPad is working without overheating, even plugged in. Turns out that the Apple charger has a chip controlling the voltage which prevents the overheating problem. Since overheating reduces the life of the battery and device, I think it is worth it to replace the generic charger& cord with the Apple charger and cord. Bestbuy should be aware of this problem.

Geek Certified Refurbished means "used". The upper right of the screen had abraisions and scratches, quite a bit. They did not show when the screen was on - if you didn't look for them, but still could be seen. (My feeling is the previous owner placed papers with a staple in their cover/case against the screen.) The device was not the correct color or model number as advertised and on the box. The box had a label on the side that said the advertised model MXT3LL/A, a "Silver" iPad Pro 4th Gen 12.9", 256GB, but the device was marked, and a sticker on the bottom of the box had the model MXR3LL/A, the "Space Gray" model. Finally, the iPad Pro has a USB-C port. But they included a USB-C charger, and a USB-C to Lightning cable. This wasn't going to work! I was forced to take it back for a refund the next morning. This was the second unit of the same I bought. The first unit has someone still paying the Apple Care+ monthly amount, so Apple Support told me I could have issues with the advertised 90 day support, as advertised. That unit also had some scratches in the upper right on the screen, but not noticeable once on. I decided to go with the original one I bought and take a chance - this device was almost 1/3 off. I recommend the item, but check it before you leave the store and expect there to be some issues. The iPad Pro, itself is amazing overall. Just need a little more quality assurance to be labeled "Geek Certified".

Horrible packaging. Paid almsit $1,000 for them to stick a giant packing sticker on my ipad back that’s now stuck there and wont come off, they completely ruined tne ipads pretty look.

This is my second refurbished purchase from Best Buy (the first was galaxy pro 2 ear buds) and I absolute love it! I really needed a new device for school, but didn’t want to pay $1500+ for the new M4 13 inch iPad Pro + the keyboard and pencil. So instead… I found a refurbished, 13 inch iPad Pro for only $800 and it has been great! Just like new, wouldn’t even be able to tell it’s refurbished if I didn’t tell anyone. I also received an open-box Apple Pencil (2nd generation) and it is also in perfect condition. The only downside is that it didn’t clarify online whether the iPad Pro would be a 5th or 6th generation. I unfortunately assumed it would be 6th generation, but instead I received a 5th generation. However, they basically function the exact same, so there’s really no difference b/w the two. I just wish the description was more specific before purchasing it that’s all. Other than that, I have no cons :)

Was looking forward to using this tablet but it would not update to current software and therefore would not complete the set up to my apple account. I returned to local Best Buy and let them know it was defective. Additionally, there were many scuffs and scratches on the case. As this is a Geek Squad Certified Refurbished product I did expect more. I also would like to know why this product does not come with the customary 2 year service when I am a Total Care Plus member on a product you Certified - only 90 days - so disappointing - yes the product is at a discount but not enough to warrant such poor warranty when one can go to Apple and get an Apple Refurbished for near the same cost as yours which has a new case, new battery, 1 year warranty, and eligible for Apple Care.

Overall good battery life, screen size and resolution are definitely a step above from the previous smaller size and models I've had in the past. mainly use for personal art and other projects and I believe it is well worth the price

Geek squad certified and it works great. You wouldn't know that it wasn't straight from Apple. It is good to have a big screen, but I originally intended to travel more with it and even with the case with the handle on the back, it is large and awkward. That being said, when I need to remote to another pc or watch a movie, it is amazing.

The iPad works well most of the time, though it sometimes doesn't react when I intentionally touch the screen while using the Pencil. That's a rare issue that resolves itself quickly, though, and everything else works great. Overall, I am quite happy with its performance, especially considering the savings with this being refurbished.

I love it! I’ve received a 128GB instead of 256GB. But when I called local store they immediately shipped the right one and sent me a mail barcode to ship the other one back.

The best tablet out there. Still a tablet though, limited by iPad OS.

The iPad was packaged well and look brand new. I didn't see any flaw on the device. I was shipped the correct model and storage capacity. This was an incredible deal.

Good for price, but was not so easy to set up. Came with no directions. Would have expected a quick set up guide

Recently purchased this refurbished iPad Pro. Excellent deal however the battery life is already suffering more than I thought it would be being a refurb from geek squad. Kinds disappointed.

The refurbished iPad Pro works as expected. It was exactly what my daughter wanted for school. She received for her birthday and has only used for a week...so far so good!

The IPAD had one scratch on the back metal other than that it was practically brand new been using it for 2 weeks now and I LOVE IT!! Definitely worth it.
