    they sound good but i'm not sure if they were refurbished correctly because anytime i look down or lay my head down they disconnect and pause my music

    I took a chance and ordered these refurbished airpods and they work great. The package was like new with the extra buds for sizing. I have no complaints and I would order again.

    I’d be on a call and it would go in and out. The firmware is upto date and everything so maybe a parts issue.

    I suppose you get what you pay for, and the dollar doesn’t go as far as it used to. I am a decades-long Best Buy customer, so when I decided on getting Airpods I came here by intuition, knowing I’d be taken care of. I purchased these at a great price. I understood that they were used and I may have to be reset in order to be paired to my phone or something along those lines. What I received was far from expectation. The box was filthy and held together with masking tape, the AirPods were covered in machine oil and packed with earwax. To say they were disgusting is an understatement- I didn’t even want to touch them, due to the smell coming off of them. I didn’t attempt to clean or activate them to see if they worked. I called the customer service line and discussed it, was offered 10% off another used pair and decided I’d rather not take the risk of getting something like this again, and just bought a new set. Best Buy should be ashamed for selling something in this condition. My biggest regret is not taking pictures to post to this review!
