A cost effective solution was needed to become familiar with the Mac operating system. Best Buy's web site advertises Geek Squad refurbished MacBooks. Finding one the suits the bill, ordered it on line for in store pickup. The MacBook Air was picked up from the local Best Buy after receiving notification that it had arrived at the store and was available. The Best Buy associate was pleasant, requested a picture I.D. handed over the package and I was out the door in a matter of minutes. Open the box and noted that the MacBook Air was appropriately packed. Removing the MacBook Air from the packaging noted a slight dent in the top of the computer as well as ghost images of decals/stickers that were removed from the notebook. Kudos to the Geek Squad for how well they cleaned the stickers off of the notebook. The only issue was encountered when plugging in the power cord in the MacBook Air. The MacBook Air gave a USB error and the battery icon did not reflect charging. Borrowing the USB C to USB C cord from another Mac user corrected the issue. Talking to Best Buy's support team, it was conveyed that should the Geek Squad deem the USB C to USB C cord was the issue it would be replaced under the 30 day warranty policy. Taking in to consideration time it was more efficient to purchase a replacement USB cable with free shipping in lieu of trying for a warranty replacement. I am very please with this purchase and have made recommendations to others interested in MacBooks to look at Geek Squad refurbished units.

I love this! It looks sleek, works very well. I recommend this model for light gaming, as it's simple and easy to manage. Not too bad of overheating, either. Only flaw is I began to get a purple line a month into use.

It was clean and in great condition. Works well so far. Just wish I would’ve known a little more about different models. I probably would’ve paid more for a newer one.

I've always been an Apple person versus other various brands. So when I found a MacBook Air that was barely 4 years old, had a phenomenal price, was in pretty much perfect condition, and was available at the Best Buy store near me, I immediately jumped in the car, went to the store and purchased it. I'm beyond happy with my purchase and highly recommend any Open Box/Geek Squad Refurbished products to everyone!

I've had it a couple days now and it's awesome. There's one tiny scratch at the bottom corner of the top side that's barely even noticeable. The computer came with the power adapter and charging cable. I opened it up, charged it a little (it arrived with 0% battery) and set it up with my iPhone. It had been completely factory reset, as it should be. The battery reads "normal" and it does last for a good while before needing to be recharged. Only thing is it's more of a rose gold color, which I think is better anyway, but just something to be aware of. I say buy one and save yourself some money over buying new.

I ended up giving this laptop to my daughter when I got it. It was kind of chipped on the side and you can tell it had been used even though it’s refurbished I I don’t wanna see a scratches or dents so I gave it to my daughter. She’s 14. This will be her first one so she’s grateful I ended up going back to get an Apple neo for the same price and it was everything! updated and it’s brand new.!

This product was really good but I thought it could run games so that bad in my part but other than that it is a really good product

Laptop was 0% battery on arrival and screen would not come on during first boot up. Hard reset and it began to work properly.

This refurbished MacBook was basically brand new! Truly saved me because I desperately wanted the same exact laptop as mine and it's the exact same. The only noticeable difference is the camera quality on zoom calls, but that is truly it and it still does the job quite great. I was really lucky to get such a great computer at an incredible price. It had no scratches or scraps. I'm not kidding it was perfect condition. Highly recommend!

It’s not bad for a used/refurburshied but it is good! It comes just like the picture but it does run a lil slow until you start messing with it

My old Mac decided to stop working mid typing up an offer on a house .. LOL !! Offer was accepted ( : but laptop died forever. Ended up going to Best Buy in a bind and still use the laptop to this day

I would never hesitate to buy a refurbished product from Best Buy again. You do need to be ensure the product if not being sold by an outside source on their website. Look for the ""geek squad certified"". The laptop was scratch free and in excellent condition, LIKE NEW. Set up easy. Delivery fast and well packed.

This laptop was exactly what I expected and more. It was recertified and came looking brand new no scratches or dents. It works exactly how it’s suppose to overall I am happy with this purchase.
