The previous MacBook Pro I had was a 2011 (old I know lol). I desperately needed to upgrade, especially with starting graduate school. I needed a reliable computer. After reading the reviews and pictures from multiple MacBook Pro options, I decided to take a chance with this one. I have never bought a refurbished computer before, so this was me taking a chance. After receiving this laptop, I am happy that I did. The laptop came in great condition with no scratches. The keyboard was clean. The Touch Bar worked really well. The only thing is that you can tell that the previous owner had two stickers on the laptop, but that didn't me because I am putting a case on it anyways. The charger included works and is in good condition. The other biggest thing for me other than an upgraded laptop was getting one that is lighter. My previous one weighed down my purse & backpack. I hated carrying it around. This one though, sooo much lighter & I love that. The reason for me taking off a star is because the laptop can sometimes get overheated. It's not often but when it does, it's warm. The other reasoning is that the Touch Bar will glitch for like 5-10 seconds upon opening. I've noticed that it does that if I leave the computer on Sleep for a period of time versus shutting off the computer. Occasionally it will do it if I am starting up the computer as well. Overall, I am very satisfied with this purchase, especially with the money I saved. I enjoy using my laptop now :) Definitely worth it.

Just received mine. It’s like the Whole BRAND NEW macbook. Really useful and great price. I honestly love it and perfect for school. I think it’s pretty decent size, kinda similar size to a school chromebook (or slightly bigger) not too heavy nor light either. Works really well and the feels like a new one. Why bother to buy a new on when you have this product with a price less than a thousand. Pretty worth it ngl. Since I already have a gaming laptop and school doesn’t require much gb so this product is good for school work. Definitely should buy this before it goes out of stock.

The MacBook itself is a little heavy- that's about the only thing I have to say that's negative. Although, this was my first Macbook. I find the touchbar to be one of the best features- I have no clue why so many people complain about it. The touchbar is customizable and also displays emoji's or the F keys.... 13" was fine for what I used it for especially when paired with my iPad as a sidecar second screen. Camera is phenomenal and speed was great. I had no issues until i spilled on the keyboard lol

I would give it negative five stars. My experience was terrible. Had to wait two weeks to get the MacBook, I was already cutting it short with my projects that I had on hold and when it arrived, IT WAS NOT WHAT I ORDERED!! Called customer service and the best they can do for me was refund my money. I asked to speak to the Supervisor and after 45min on the phone the only solution that the Supervisor can give me was to go to the store and see if they had something similar to what I ordered. I went to the store and all the solution they could give me was purchase a more expensive MacBook because they don’t have anything close to what I ordered as an option to replace their mistake. They didn’t even offer to price match or anything to any other MacBook they had. Now, I find myself feeling highly misguided, betrayed, upset and without a computer!! Please do not buy!! They just want you to go to the store to get you to replace what you received for a more expensive one. Plus the conditions of this laptop were not great. Didn’t even have the decency to wipe clean. The MacBook was sticky from the corners and the charger what not an Apple charger. It is one of those knockoff brands

Its pretty good the only problem is that it overheats but good and runs smoothly would recomend

Bought this macbook refurbished for over $500. Started shutting down and freezing up randomly due to it being refurbished. Now it shuts down every couple hours randomly. I am very disappointed in my "Geek Squad Refurbished" product.

Would have been much better if there was an owners manual with the laptop!

Unfortunately upon opening the screen and powering up you can tell it was untouched from geek squad. Still crumbs from the prior owner stuck to the keyboard/screen. If its dirty on the outside i doubt the inside was checked. Wish i could send video! Major dent on bottom left where it looks dropped

I don’t know if they check the laptop before sending it, it just came with the broken screen

The one I got was very good! Barely any complaints about this one. The only problem with it is that it does die quickly, but that isn’t a big problem with me since I always bring my charger everywhere. Runs very smoothly and has enough storage that I need. Would definitely recommend this!

I love my MP, the storage and processing speed are more than enough for what I do and I love the ease of access across all of my apple devices

I loved my macbook! I had it for 2 years and used it for school and work and it was amazing. Currently working on upgrading to an Imac but it definitely serves its purpose for students and working members.

Not really, but having a touch bar exclusively means to use your hands, but like, things are easier to access than ever it *feels* like that feeling when you're on a bicycle and you're just cruisin, ya know? And you can stick your hands out and just go. Anyway, that's how this MacBook made me feel. Wee!

I am very impressed. Other than my charging cable which has seen better days, I could not tell this computer was used otherwise. I did have to wipe a little smudge off the top of the laptop as if there was a sticker on it previously but there's not a scratch on it. I also immediately checked the specifications and all matched except the processor. It actually came with a slightly faster processor so I am very happy. I did pay for expedited shipping and it was late but they said Best Buy emailed me to let me know they do not charge for the item until it was shipped and would not be charging for the extra shipping cost. It was only 1 day late. I cannot complain because if I did not opt for expedited shipping it would have taken much longer. And I didn't have to pay for it. Very pleased.

Overall this computer has been amazing. No scratches found and it performs great. I was pleasantly surprised at how fast it is. It doesn't appear to overheat but the battery does drain out a bit fast but it hasn't really been a problem. Honestly, this was a superb purchase and definitely worth checking out if you'd like to save some dough.

Although I said I wouldn’t buy anymore Apple products because I have just about everything Apple except the AirPods and MacBook well now I have a MacBook and I love it I’m planning on using it to work from home.

Great buy! I would definitely recommend if someone was looking to get into a MacBook without having to dish out the crazy price!

Love this laptop. Speed and efficiency is incredible and the shortcut Touch Bar on the keyboard is amazing!
