Not really worth thr price tag so see if you can get it on sale. Unless youre getting 2 to pair with your apple tv, I would just get the minis which also have good sound and a third of the price.

Very good sound quality in a very small Package. Buy them in pair and you will get a good mini sound system with very small footprint.

Pros- Good sound, easy to hook up. Works well with Apple. I like the look of it. Cons-Needs two for good tv audio, Wont work with airpods mini and Tv. Cost its very expensive. And the fabric collects dust! Well I wouldn’t recommend this as the newer model is coming out soon.

I LOVE this speaker. I have two so I can play it in stereo and it sounds great. I like that I can use them as a pair or alone but highly recommend using them together. I am totally hooked. So easy to set up too.

Very nicely surprised to hear the sound quality from this speaker. It works well with iPhone and has a nice rich deep bass sound. The sound from this speaker will fill up a room of 550 sq feet very nicely no need to buy 2 of them.

Works seamlessly throughout the house. Easy setup and sounds great! I have it to replace my sound bar for the tv, and now there’s no need to keep changing the EQ to hear speaking — HomePod does it all and very clearly

First time with a HomePod (two as stereo pair), but been a Mac guy for 30 years. Wanted to replace my bit cumbersome stereo system with a speaker system that both had auto adjustment for room ambient conditions and also a speaker with good response from low to high frequencies that didn't require a separate sub-woofer. Setting up the two HomePods as a stereo pair was a bit pricey (as to the 4 stars instead of 5), but audio-wise they perform well and have surprisingly good bass response, at least to my older ears. Bass, in music and movies sounds quite solid. As to the high end around 16khz, tough to hear after 60+ years...maybe somebody younger can give an opinion:-). For me they are working well and I think they're worth the investment.

I have just moved from Android to the world of Apple, and have never used voice commands on any device but this has made the transition seemless ... and I now love having a little information servant. It's a great time saver!

This has the normal Apple quality, and it does sound good for it's price range. but a little pricey. $250 would have been just right. Probably a no-brainer though if you have other Apple products, and looking for a speaker though.

The HomePod 2nd Gen performs admirably, providing excellent sound quality and functionality. However, it occasionally struggles to sync properly, which can be frustrating. The intercom feature is a standout, offering a convenient way to communicate with family members throughout the home. That being said, it would be beneficial if the intercom feature was more intuitive and user-friendly. Despite these minor setbacks, the HomePod 2nd Gen remains a solid choice for those seeking high-quality audio and smart home integration.

Great sound, connects well if you have great wifi. Had issues first day, I moved it from my living to my gym/garage and I couldn’t connect to it, and is not like other speakers that uses just Bluetooth, so if your internet is down, you basically can’t use it.

Have two of these as a stereo pair with my Apple TV. Sound great! Can really put out the bass if you want them to. Only wish is for more customization, but that’s with anything Apple.

Ignore the reviews saying HomePod version 2, this version, doesn't sound as good as the 1st generation. This version sounds absolutely amazing. You won't be disappointed with the quality of the audio. Plus, the sometimes unpredictable and shaky AirPlay connectivity issues that were part of the 1st generation HomePod are GONE!. They have been completely resolved. I've never seen anybody write or talk about that issue. One more thing, if you have an Apple TV 4K, you can reliably pair the speaker with your Apple TV now. If you can afford it, get two speakers for a phenomenal sound experience.
