It’s a great speaker. I bought two and use it kind of like surround sound. It didn’t have much bass, though. And it crackles every once in a blue moon.

Almost the same sound as version 1 with one important exception - this one doesn't have the "booming" bass (although bass output is strong and punchy). In addition to the smart features, V2 just sounds better, although the volume is not has high as V1 at same levels. Mids seem a bit stronger. Overall, worth the upgrade.

Nice little speaker. Using it for stereo sound for my TV while using my Apple TV 4K. Very nice sound.

Whats not to love about the new HomePod? The only complaint I have is that it cant form a stero pair with older HomePods. Also Apple needs to make it so I can pair more than just two HomePods. I want the full surround sound experience with multiple HomePods paired together in one large ecosystem.

It’s great sounding audio, but Siri and my Samsung tv aren’t very compatible with commands unless connected with 4k Apple TV. Wish both be more intuitive, respectively when combined. Other than installed in a bedroom the sound is way better than just tv audio

Best if you have the apple ecosystem. Love the sound and so easy to use.

This item is still far too pricey, but good for bedroom airplay and stereo. Siri doesn't know much as usual and still has trouble understanding questions and/or commands.

Absolutely delighted with this purchase! I bought a pair of 1st Gen speakers and was gutted when they discontinued the larger speaker. The second generation is a great upgrade and the added features are welcome but the main thing is the incredible sound especially as a stereo pair!

I have multiple mini pods throughout my home and the difference between those devices and this one is significant. I have this one in the living room and the sound quality is great. I also have a home theater but will sometimes use the homepod connected to the apple player for sound. Great product

Very excellent speaker, I brought two of them to pair with one another and the sound is loud and efficient. Definitely recommended buying two for heightened quality.

I use this everyday and can’t imagine my life without it. Definitely an essential it sounds great and fills the room wonderfully.

Would absolutely recomend this Item for anyone. The sound of this homepod is immaculate. Its loud and rich and covers every inch of my room with sound. I would highly recommend this Product to anyone who’s looking for a smart Speaker that has great sound quality and a smart assistant.

I should’ve bought 2. That’s how good it is and how easy it is to set up. If u want it to be permanent surround sound (meaning everytime u turn on ur Apple TV it connects) then reset the Apple TV (do not set up HomePod yet) and then turn on HomePod and it will ask to make it permanent. I updated the Apple TV before and it wouldn’t ask me after turning it on but after the reset it asked me. Works like a charm

The sound is pretty amazing. it has taken our home movie experience to the next level. i would definitely recommend this product. the only downside is that you MUST buy two units. if you only want to buy one don’t bother it you are looking for the surround sound experience

- Likes: Siri, native apple music support, I use it as sound bar as well thanks to eARC with ATV4K, spatial audio is impressive. - Dislikes: Lacks thumpy bass like in the Sonos Move. Can’t play spotify natively. 2 speakers in a stereo pair IMO wasnt impressive enough to justify the price point. Lacks bluetooth support.

Sound quality is very nice. Connects with my TV and phone. Connects to other pods through the home and output sound is very clear. Base is great on it also.

My smart home is based on the Apple Homekit, so this speaker works perfectly with the existing Apple products. It's more expensive that other smart speakers, but the sound is unmatched by other smart speakers.

The sounds quality seems just as good as the first generation. I purchased a couple HomePod minis when they came out, which made me realized just how much I love the sound quality of the full size homepod. A stero pair connected to an apple tv is fantatoc as well, beats out the soundbar I had been using.
