I like the bass on the newer model. It’s over all one of the best sounding speakers on the market for people who are deeply intigrated in apple ecosystem.

So far I’m impressed with this HomePod. I had the first gen and the smaller one. The sound is great with my music and some of the updates I’ve discovered are amazing.

Nice and loud. The sound is perfect for my apartment and easy to pair to Apple tv

No complaints. Works wonderful with my whole Apple System. Great sound quality and easy to ask Siri to play any music suits for any moments.

I just dont think its worth 3x a home pod mini and if i need to buy 2 at $600 the question then is would it sound as good as a Sonos play 5? I dont think its loud enough by itself. I think Apple really should have done more. I think for it to sound good you would definitely need to buy 2 of these. In a bedroom its decent but in a large living space such as the living room one is simply not enough to fill the space. I have mixed feelings about it. Maybe if i get another one i can update this review.

Pairing these via Bluetooth is phenomenal. Very small footprint in our living room and the sound is crystal clear! Love them.

So glad they released. These passed on the first ones then picked up the minis four spare bedroom stereo set up love them so much I copped the second generation ASAP!

It is definitely a better purchase than I thought it would be.

I purchased two HomePod 2 units to create a stereo pair and love the quality of Dolby Atnos sound through my Apple TV and plasma TV.

For being a $300, the sound is a major let down. For this price point, i would expect punchy bass, good highs (which this speaker does deliver), and a full and rich sound. If this speaker was between $150-$200 price range, this would easily be a 5 star. If you're looking for a loud speaker with deep bass, this isn't for you. If you like good clarity, and a more balanced sound, then this for you but definitely not worth the price. You would be better of buying an Echo Studio and get bigger and better sound for cheaper

Works great in my home office connected to the ATV. This replaces two HomePod minis in the room. Works well and provides better sound for the room.

Love my speakers, nice and perfect sound. Don’t need turn it up volume too much because sound is very clean!

Pair this up with a second speaker and use with an Apple TV and you have a GREAT system.

Even with fewer speakers and mikes, this sounds better than my original HomePod. Also has many new features for $50 less than I paid for the old one. Love it.
