good but software has been flaky

Owned for 6 months when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.i love these and my bigger now-outdated homepods…put these in my bedroom and connected in stereo to the tv. at first was annoyed because these offered to be “assigned” to the apple tv in my room, but it acted kinda goofy when i’d want to do non-tv stuff (play podcast on phone, etc). but now, i CAN’T “assign it” to my tv, can only assign them “temporarily” and then it has to be reconnected again most every time i turn the tv on. hopefully there is a fix… the bigger homepods don’t seem to have this issue but i’m sure they will eventually since they don’t make them anymore.

The Minis aren't the OG, but I love them

Owned for 3 weeks when reviewed.This reviewer received promo considerations or sweepstakes entry for writing a review.The Minis don't have the big size that the OG HomePods do, but the sound quality is fantastic, they work seamlessly throughout my home, and for the price, they can't be beat. I will usually try to hold out for a sale here at Best Buy on them, and buy a couple. And because I am a Total Tech member, I get AppleCare+ included. It really can't be beat, and I prefer it to wading out into the shark-infested waters of the gray market for the OG home pods.
