Great quality speaker and value, very functional - easy to setup!

Little speaker is decent. Nothing compared to the original HomePod. It lacks the bass and volume of the original. Also, have had issues with Apple Support in terms of Thread networking. They advertise it for this product, but it’s not fully implemented from what I understand. I have two of these set up as a stereo pair, it helps but still can’t match one original HomePod. I would wait for the next version of the Mini. Siri isn’t any better on it either.

HomePod detects when a regular smoke alarm goes off (not a smart alarm), but does also detect with sound when smoke alarms trigger. Good sound. Allows for HomeKit to function with HomeKit Yale locks.

Compared to the google nest mini, the sound quality is better and louder. The google nest mini have much more features though.

I’m an apple guy through and through but I didn’t have high expectations regarding sound from this but I was pleasantly surprised by how loud this actually was. Siri could still use some improvements but this is still arguably one of the best smart speakers I’ve ever used.

I own both the HomePod and mini and for the size of the latter, it packs a punch as far as sound level and quality. I own two and have them connected to my TV and again am blown away with the results. I guess what I’m trying to say is that I highly recommend getting one (or two) if you’re thinking about it.

Apple instructions are vague, and it seemed for a while that I could only listen to iTunes on it. Don't know what I did differently, but now it works more like other smart speakers, I can stream my internet radio stations. The sound is nothing special, but that's par for a small speaker.

For its size I was surprise that the sound quality was not far off from its big brother the original HomePod. Sure it lacks the surround sound and the spatial awareness but speaker of this size is not meant for that. I recently switch back to Apple Music and I really like the handoff feature. Using a stand alone Mini already sounds good, a stereo pair makes it better.

Good speaker, siri wont listne sometimes while in the shower

I really want to give this speaker 5 stars. The sound is phenomenal, the functionality is phenomenal...however....the first month I had this device, I was plagued with constant issues keeping my devices connected to the speaker. I use this device 99% of the time with airplay from my iPhone X. During this month, I could not play music for more than about 30-45 minutes before I would lose connection to it. The HomePod would not drop off if my network, it was almost like it would start rejecting traffic from my iPhone. I tested this on an iPhone X, iPhone 6s, iPad Pro, and from iTunes on a windows based computer. I set the HomePod up on its own wireless network (different access point than my main) that was very close to it to verify the signal was strong, but the issue still occurred. After a couple factory resets and making some changes to my home hub settings, this issue *seems* to have disappeared. I have also revamped my home network to a Ubiquiti one, so that might also be a factor. Either way, the speaker still sound absolutely stunning. Especially the bass that this little can is able to create.

Awesome speakers for a small bedroom Powerful for the size The only trouble i have with these are airplay doesnt always work very seamlessly I would recommend getting two of these for stereo sound
