Im disappointed in this product solely due to to Siri being trash and almost every request you ask it tells you to ask from your phone. Google nest and Alexa are way ahead in this sector. I has Google ecosystem for awhile and while it had its times where the Google nest bugs out overall it was and still is more reliable for asking things on the fly. Any thing that is available as Google search I can get answers to. Homepod on on the other hand can’t respond with results from web. It will just tell you it found web results and to ask again from my iPhone. So outside of listening to music and interacting with smart home accessories its not worth it. Maybe in the future if they add Apple intelligence aka ChatGPT lol. Oh yeah, also I don’t like the fact that you have to have your phone connected to WiFi at all times got homepod mini to work. I have a mac and iPad Pro with home app. Not sure why my phone has to be the default device.

I love the HomePod Mini. It is a great sounding speaker in a small package. Sure, you can find similar speakers for the same and even cheaper price. However, if you are in the Apple Eco System, this is a great addition. I have used them for TV speakers as being paired with an Apple TV Box and i truly think its better than the sound my TV emits.

Bought as a gift for my 78 year old Dad. He is technologically challenged and he loves it. He is always asking Siri to play music with amazing sound quality and he can make/take calls on it. He lives alone and I feel safer that he has Siri there with him in case of an emergency.

I want sure how well it would work for surround sound for my Apple TV and with my other HomePod mini but it works so amazing

I would use my $400 gift card to buy 4 more of these.

Hey Siri one of my favorite lines to use around the house with my homepod mini which I can control almost everything with. My tv, my lights, my blinds my thermostat all work with voice commands through my homepod mini. At a great affordable price when it comes to music playback not much sound is lost from the full size homepod I love the mini just the same.

Excellent sound and great accessory for the iPhone user

These are amazing. The sound size can’t be touched by another speaker. Siri has now become a go to standard in the house And you can’t beat using it as a speaker phone. Just say. “ her Siri answer the phone “ and the call is crystal clear. We now have music all over the house. Customizable to individual tastes. These are a must have. You need at least two.

Being a big Apple product fan for its ease of use and the ecosystem that I already own, I wanted to have this one for a smaller room. I have a HomePod and thought this would make a good one to have one each in every floor to connect and do a home automation. A gift for my Wife as she can listen to music while she is in the Kitchen :-).
