If you're in the apple ecosystem, these are fine but don't expect Siri to be any better. Speaker is pretty good for size and I like the design and how discreet it is, but the value really just lies in buying into apple.

Speaker sounds great. I have had it since the day it was released. When I first purchased it thought it had too much bass then apple did an upgrade which removed a lot of the bass. I would have preferred to make my own decision on the upgrade. It still sounds great. I like using in my office at work and even on low volume you can feel the bass in other offices. This weekend I brought it home to play thunderstorms while I sleep. It sounds like the storm is in the room. The thunder sounds like it’s coming from everywhere

These have changed the way my apartment works. Great for home system, great quality sounds. Amazing capabilities with Apple TV

I love this product. Very helpful around the house. It integrates all my Apple products so it works seamlessly with everything. Very speedy service after I purchased the product. Customer service was very informative and helpful.

This HomePod doesn’t sound as good as the original l, but it is so much smaller that it fits into decor much better. It responds to all the standard Siri commands and knows when I’m talking to it instead of my watch. Also really love transferring playback from my phone to the HomePod when I get home.

Works great. I've been using it for smart lights, outlets, taking and receiving phone calls, and listening to music. Very easy to setup and no problems so far. Hope to use it as a speaker for my television in the future.

I am and have been an Apple enthusiast. The regular size HomePod is pretty cool... I was gonna use it as a sound bar but couldn’t find it in me to spend the money on an Apple product that’s not portable (like my phone or my watch lol) so when this got released I thought it would be a go. I already have a smart home and this HomePod mini (although better sounding than my UE Boom) doesn’t meet the needs I have to replace Alexa just yet. Yes the sound is better than my Alexa smart speaker but the HomeKit doesn’t support a few of my smart home things. I thought the airplay was super laggy and the fact that I can’t move it around my house is whack (but yes I get it that’s why it’s a smart speaker and not a portable.) The sound is good for its size though, but this thing is super tiny. I ended up returning it. Sticking with Alexa and just gonna buy a Black Friday sound bar for now.

Sound quality for a small bedroom is exceptional, I use the HomePod mini has my hub for HomeKit devices. especially now its updated for temperature and humidity

The sound is amazing for such a small speaker - but the real power is the integration with HomeKit and Siri. I can turn on my TV, lights, etc. without moving from my chair. I also use it as the audio fro my Apple TV and it is very good.

In terms of musical capabilities, no other smart speaker can hold a candle to the HomePod. This is my second, and I'm constantly impressed by the unit's ability to reproduce full frequencies (including sub-level bass) with fidelity and musicality at volume. It's really impressive. You can't order paper towels with it, which may or may not matter to you. (It doesn't to me – I see that as a plus, actually.) By virtue of the fact above, it's also more secure, and Apple's listening and encryption protocols are significantly better than Amazon's or Google's. It's expensive for a smart speaker, but it's the one to get, in my book.

Set up was quick and easy. Tie in to phone and smart devises easy as well. Music sounds great on it. Siri responds well to questions or controlling smart devices.

We own 6 HomePods and use them as speakers for all of our TVs. They connect seamlessly with our Apple TVs. You can also pair them together to get a more full sound.

The HomePod is great if you love Siri. Unfortunately I bought it when iOS 15.2 was out which made using the HomePod an absolute nightmare. You would expect that a $99 device wouldn’t have software updates that make it unusable. Fortunately Apple fixed the issue in iOS 15.3

The HomePod Mini is surprisingly powerful for its size. I have 2 of them paired for stereo sound connected to my Apple TV and it works really well as an alternative to a soundbar.

It's good to see Apple improving their wireless speaker capability and adding it to their growing line of home networking products. The sound on this unit is better than some of the other products from the other large technology companies.

Expensive for what it does, but also functions as a Home-Kit Base (bluetooth access), sound is pretty darn good for the size but if you're only using it for its speaker function, you might as well look into larger speakers (soundbars for example) for similar price (when on sale).

The only problem I have with this speaker is Siri. Which may seem like a big deal, but for the most part I try not to use her. Siri can do the basics so its not always noticeable but anything beyond that she is very useless.

The sound was awesome but i dont understand why they would make a speaker you could not connect an android phone aounds like they want to lose money to me, so we went with a sony speaker and my daughter loves it more.

I enjoy this very much. It has good sound quality and it has a very sensitive microphone.
