Before buying, I thought that the sound would be just okay. To my amazement, it was so much better than I had anticipated. It has excellent clarity and even some decent base. For 100.00 bucks, I was taken back by how nice it sounded.

These mini HomePods are actually great. Has the best sound compared to google nest mini and hub. I don’t own Alexa. It may not be as smart as google but at least privacy wise HomePod is better. Slowly switching out google to homepods.

Works as expected and at a super good price. Controls all our smart home stuff. Worth it completely if you use Home Kit.

I'm amazed at how this little thing fills the room with sound the way that it does. I have one on every floor and my wife and I talk to each other over the intercom. It also controls my Home Kit automation. Love this thing. Get it!

The sound is amazing for such a small smart speaker. I thought Moving from an echo/Alexa smart home to a HomeKit/Siri would be a difficult transition, but this made it easy. I am an apple fanboy though so this review may be biased

Easy to setup with all apple devices. Make sure wifi is strong for there are times it skips when streaming. Not like a typical bluetooth speaker, needs to have wifi. Other than that, great quality speaker and great siri integration.

I really love this speaker its great for connecting my phone and easy to use l. Its really cool to ask for questions such as the weather and putting music without touching the phone nor the speaker

Apple has done amazing job with privacy and the integration of my current ecosystem of an all apple household. Love that I can turn my tv on and off with my Apple TV. My favorite feature is the intercom.

This speaker has great sound and great volume. I used it in a public event where the space was acoustically "hot" with solid walls, floor, ceiling. The space was about 70' x 150' in size. The HomePod speaker automatically adjusted sound output for the placement and acoustics. It also was able to play a loud and pleasant sound to fill the room. It did a better job than the speakers mounted on the front wall of the space. It works well with or without Apple Music.

Installation is easy, just have your iPhone close and i will configure it quickly and you can being telling Siri what music to play or what information on various subjects you request. Its been a good addition to the Home, it readily controls the HomeKit Devices I have installed as well, plus the rest of the family has been using it as well to play their music or get weather, sports etc. While its not perfect, and nothing ever is, it works well, sounds great, and I believe that its more secure than other devices, plus Apple's privacy policies I think are far better than the competition in keeping things secure.

I bought a pair of these to try in a stereo setup. Syncing them with my phone was as smooth as expected. They worked wonderfully with Apple Music. Very impressed with Siri voice command; in particular their ability to hear commands even when speaking quietly while they are playing at high volumes. The sound was much better than I’d hoped- decent highs and a surprising amount of low end for their size. I came very close to keeping them. Ultimately they went back because I was looking for a pair of speakers that would elevate the music a bit more for critical listening. For the casual listener who has an Apple Music subscription, however, they are hard to beat in terms of simplicity, access to music, and yes, the sound as well. I’d be happy to have one (or two) down the road for a second or third audio zone.

The sound quality is so good for such a tiny package. The homepod mini easily integrates with your Apple product.

It’s No Secret That Siri Doesn’t Stack Up Well Against Alexa Or Google Assistant, But I Think For The Average Joe Who Listens To Music (Apple Music Mainly) Will Love The HomePod. It’s Bassy, Balanced Sound Is Just Enough. This Speaker Is Small, But Packs All The Punch, Kick Or Whatever You’re Into To WOW You. Simply Put If You’re An Avid Apple Music Listener This Will Work Well With Your Current Set Up And With AirPlay 2 It’s Even Better. My Current TV Is Trash So I Use My HomePod W/ My APPLE TV And AirPlay Through It. To Get The Best Sound Possible. I Love This Thing May Get Another To Unlock Stereo Surround Sound.

I love this little thing. Although I use it mostly for music it really comes in hand. The mic is incredible. The volume of music can be on max but Siri still responds. Great piece of tech. I have one so far but I plan on getting more.

The sound out of this is very surprising in a good way. I bought 2 for my kids’ rooms and they really love them. Definitely great quality and perfect for them to have dance parties in their rooms. Would absolutely recommend.

I bought this for a very specific purpose: to enable an elderly person with cognitive difficulties to listen to the classical music she loves. When it’s paired with her iPad and Apple Music, all she has to do is say, “Hey, Siri, play Beethoven,” and it does. It also happens to be beautifully designed and deliver remarkably good sound quality for something so small, but that doesn’t really matter in this case. What does matter is that, as Apple used to say in its advertising, it just works. And that makes it well worth the admittedly high price.

Good sound quality, but disappointed that I cannot stream my SiriusXM subscription directly from the internet. While I can send music via Bluetooth to the device from my iPhone, I can only stream Apple Music directly from the internet.
