Bought to replace my Alexa since my main music streaming service is Apple Music and Apple Music doesn’t work good on Alexa sometimes. Voice recognition and Internet connectivity Are very good. Sound quality is what should be expected from a speaker this size. Apple Music works very good on this device.

This mini iPod works well and has a great speakers . If u r a apple Siri user i do recommend this specially for homekit automation. Overall its buialt excellent and does more than expected. Compliments apple tv and iphone ipad

I listen to this speaker everyday while cooking. It replaced my bose speaker. Easy to connect with my Apple Music. Love! Just purchased more as gifts.

Not great sound quality. If you grew up listening to music on a smartphone speaker you might not care, but I do. Throw in the extra $80 for a Bose Mini Sound Dock, get top-notch sound with optional bass boost. Sorry, Apple, I still love you.

First things first...I bought a HomePod thinking I might try to use it to remind my son to dial into his virtual classes like my friends have done with Alexa. Well, either it can’t do that or I couldn’t figure out how to do make it do it. However, while fiddling with the HomePod I thought it had nice sound and decided to keep it for the kitchen since it can stream from Apple Music. Then, I decided it sounded good enough to replace an older Bose speaker I had in my office so I bought another! Two thumbs up! One for each HomePod I bought. ;-)

I have a Sonos 3 and now the HomePod. The HomePod quality of sound is even better than the Sonos, very impressed! Great for working out and can change the sound, or the song by talking rather than having to push any buttons.

The speaker is amazing. Such great sound. Absolutely worth it. I would recommend it to anyone. The customer seriviece I received was horrible. I bought 5 of these sings. 2 days later they drop the price. They said that they will price much but can only do one a day. For me to request it. But next day I reach out about the next price match. They refuse. But they said the they would honor 3 already done ($90.10). And then told me to go to the store and they would be able to. I spent an hour driving to and from and spent an hour there for them to refuse to it. Even when I show the transcripts from best buy. I leave angry for being lied to and made to take so much out of my day to do this for it only be refused. But then I reach out the next day. And then then proceed to tell me that they will not even honor the 3rd price match that I was assured by multiple best buy employees that they would honor that in fact they will not honor it. I got so angry, I immediately returned one of the units.

I love this product works great you can do Apple Music and do pandora and what is so amazing is that you can do air play which means that if you say hey Siri play my music on Pandora or Apple Music it will do it right from your phone.

This unit is the absolute best sounding speaker in its class. The far field microphone beats every other voice assistant unit on the market—and I’ve tried them all. I don’t use Siri for home automation but when I want to listen to music it picks up my voice as if I’m talking to someone face-to-face—even if I’m 35 feet away from. Better than echo and absolutely crushes google voice recognition.

the overall quality of the speaker is very good. but the sound quality is a bit more of bass. Siri service is limited in comparison to google assistance. would only recommend this speaker if on sale.

We are very happy with our purchase. Apple has always been reliable & Best Buy has too. We come here about every other well but my 9 old asks to go everyday! Best Buy is the only store he likes to go in! True story

We are an Apple/Mac family so treated ourselves to the HomePod for Christmas. Really impressed with the sound, bass to tweeters, and it does seem to intelligently shape the sound to the room. We are also Spotify users and found we can play with AirPlay through the speaker. But to use Siri and voice control you need to use Apple music. So we signed up for the 3 mos. free Apple music. To use Siri reliably, you've got to study up on how to ask Siri for the music you want and its often hit or miss. And its nice to ask for the weather or the news. But we don't get the same selection of music that we have saved with Spotify so not sure we will keep the Apple Music at $10 month. Our hope is that Spotify will eventually work like Apple Music with Siri. So its the music issue that led us to give it four stars.

Constantly disconnects. Sound quality is decent. I do like being able to use Siri and take phone calls with it. But when listening to music, it constantly disconnects

Bought it for my bedroom for the ease of connectivity from iPhone and iPad, and it indeed produces a wonderful audio range. Was pleasantly surprised how easy it is to connect to my AppleTV, and it provides a much better and richer sound than the TV itself. If I manage to find it at the pre-Christmas price again, I may buy another one, as I’ve now learned they can be setup to work together to produce true stereo effect. Will update my review if/when I do that.

A nice addition to my workshop. Nice to have a connection to music and Homkit from there.

I had a wonderful salesman who help me with my purchase. They did not have any in the store but Guaranteed that Apple would send it out and I would have it in a couple of day and yes it did!!

This is an incredible addition to any home. I find the sound quality amazing!! Super easy set up and very user friendly. I plan on getting another!

This works great as a speaker and a home hub! Acting as a thread border router greatly improved the performance of my HomeKit devices.

My daughter lives happily, highly recommended, she takes it everywhere she goes, I would buy it again without a doubt

My wife started her own at home business. I wanted to get her an assistant for her desk that could be a speaker phone, spelling aide, and speaker for back ground music. In my research I found out that the other popular speakers do not work as a speaker phone unless the other caller is using the same system... odd This was plug and play, does everything she needs, oh the sound is fantastic by the way. Yes it may be more expensive than the best selling ones out there, but if they don’t do what you need them to do, then price doesn’t matter. It didn’t hurt that BB had them $100 off the week before Christmas!!!
