I love HomePod minis have multiple in the house. As an open box though it took a bit of setting up, as it had obviously been connected to someone else’s WiFi and account before being retuned. But a quick reset and now it’s part of a great stereo setup in the bathroom!!

It’s nice and small and compact. Very easy to setup the sound is crystal clear and no rattle when you have it at max volume.

Distinct sounding and almost similar to older Bose models. The tuning emphasizes the lower end, while giving plenty of space for for the higher frequencies to give way to excellent detail. The middle could be improved and hopefully apple will update the DSP to allow for this. I enjoy the sound, especially for movies and live music that captures the feel of a small venue. I’d love to hear 2 of these in stereo mode and I’ve read that this is when the HomePod really stands out. Connectivity is all taken care of by Apple and it integrates with more recent versions of specific apples iPads and Apple TV’s without effort or disruption. But, at last check, regular Bluetooth from non apple devices or non Apple sources wasn’t available. I heard this might be updated and definitely check out the latest official description before counting the HomePod out. I purchased it with same day delivery from bestbuy and was impressed with the service and the price, which was $100 less than the standard rate from Apple and elsewhere. I think it is a great speaker. But if you are picky about audio quality, you will want 2 and want to pair them for stereo sound. It is mono on its own, despite the array of tweeters, middles and single woofer. I’ve read reviews about the google speaker with the same functions but all googled out critics say that is the speaker to beat in this range. That surprises me, but makes me want to bend an ear to the google speaker because if it sounds better than the Apple, it might sound better than just about all options in the $200-$400 range and beyond.

Excellent product. Easy setup and plenty of volume for the small size. Music sounds good even at higher volumes.

I got this on Feb 9th. One of the best compact speaker i ever had. The bass is so beautiful, every crisp sound is noticed in this Home pod. Siri is "OK" but not great it cannot do like what iphone siri can do with 3rd party apps. But the only thing it lacks compared to other devices like Amazon,google is it only works with apple devices and very few other devices that support home kit feature. No bluetooth feature. Remember if you want best sound from this device that covers your entire room/hall, home pod should be placed in corner of the room. Overall the Audio quality is great. Of course money comes to play, you can buy echo, google home ranging 50 $ -150$..but you need to spend 350 $ on Home pod which is more than twice or thrice. I would say if you use apple phone/ipad/apple tv then go for home pod. Or else go for other ones. One more thing Home pod will play songs only from your apple library with apple music subscription .Even though you have songs downloaded from your personal PC to iphone via itunes library. Home pod cannot recognize those songs automatically, which is weird. For me i feel like apple is stressing to shop/purchase more apple products to use its own things. That is a strategy but down the road it will be frustrating to apple users who are switching to samsung devices etc. Eg: if you have apple watch, apple home pod, iphone and you think of switching your iphone to samsung/LG. you neither can use apple watch or home pod. All are useless, it will strictly bind your mind to use apple phones. That is bad.

This is easily the most useless and unsuccessful Apple product I’ve owned. It’s the first time I’ve felt genuinely undersatisfied with an Apple purchase. Apple markets HomePod as offering “seamless transfers,” but that only applies to music. You cannot transfer or use it for app-based calls like Zoom, Teams, or WhatsApp. A basic $30 Bluetooth speaker can handle those without issue. In that sense, this is objectively worse than a cheap speaker. Sound quality is not impressive either. It’s fine, but nothing special, and in my experience not better than an Amazon Echo. For the price, it’s overpriced and underwhelming. The behavior is also unreliable. It randomly starts playing music without any clear trigger, and when that happens, you often can’t even stop or control it properly from the phone. This has happened multiple times, and it feels unpredictable and buggy. Connection with a Mac is unstable. You cannot rely on it as a permanent external speaker. It disconnects, fails to reconnect, and generally does not behave like a normal audio device. Bottom line: this is not a smart speaker in any practical sense. It’s a very restricted music appliance with confusing limitations that Apple does not clearly disclose. Honestly, a $15 knockoff Bluetooth speaker would be more versatile and seamless for everyday use. Extremely disappointing.

The HomePod is 2 devices in one, a premium speaker and a home hub. In my opinion the sound quality is the best on the market. Features allow for searching for music, setting timers and making phone calls. Siri voice is very accurate and the design is quite attractive. On the flip side Siri is limited to the Apple universe(Appleverse) with no Bluetooth streaming and no aux input, I recommend Apple subscription enhance your HomePod experience. Oh yea and grab with both hands it’s rather heavy.

This is a nice speaker for the size. Since I don't turn the music way up it is perfect. It was easy to pair with my other apple device.

I used it as my bedside mini buddy and its great. sound quality are perfect and ease of used is great too.

Sound quality is absolutely amazing! It’s about the size of your fist, but the base is amazing. Good purchase.
