This is a great product much better than the original HomePod as far as price and it sounds fantastic for something so small I had to give it one less star because you gotta air play anything other than Apple Music or Pandora so you don’t get the full voice capability but it even helps you find your phone if you lose it on the house as I do a lot all in all great product tho and cheapest entry into a smart home if your interested in that too and phone calls sound clear on this too

I absolutely love this thing. We use it to create automations for an easy day, I use it to make phone calls when my toddler wants to talk to someone, or when they want “wheels on the bus” for the 50th time. It just comes in handy a lot for us.

These do everything the original HomePods can do just a good bit quieter and for a much cheaper price. Overall, I'd say for most people, these are great. While they might not be as feature rich as the competition, They sound better, nail all the basics and most used voice commands, and are more secure and privacy focused, which for an always on microphone all around your house that's connected to the internet 24/7, is probably a good thing.

First time having a homepod, good sound for the price, simple to use.

I like it. It’s small but it does it’s job. Thinking about getting the bigger Apple HomePod because it’s louder.

Quality is good. Did take a few attempts to get it setup but in the end wasn't too bad. Sound is good for its size but I use it mostly for asking about the weather and settings timers. Gave it 4 stars because Siri is just not in the same league as Google. Also of things you might ask it just says "here is more info on your phone" where my Google Nest will give a verbal answer. However if your an Apple user I guess you get what you get.

Original Homepods are a hot commodity on ebay. Mine sold for over $400. Decided to sell mine for 2 Homepod minis. Sound is remarkable for the size but not quite as good as the original but what does one expect for $99. Great job by Apple on this little wonder. Siri still not as good as Alexa, Nice to be able to play my iTunes music library.

Sometimes I run into issues with this product. I’ll call for Siri on my phone and response will be very delayed on the pod. In general connecting is harder than it should be for new phones on the home app.

Its been almost 11 months that I have purchased this amazing tech from Apple and am totally content with the product and its features. Me being in Apple ecosystem, this complements rest of the Apple devices. Right from morning songs to controlling devices, this operates flawlessly as expected. The Mini came in well packaged and was an experience to open the package from Apple. Once opened and powered up, the setup was very easy, if one has an Apple ID. The apple id can be tagged to the Mini by scanning the top of the Mini and things get synced up easily. There are multiple uses of Mini. Mini can be configured first using the Home app from Apple, where it is considered as a Hub. Once configured, it can be activated by saying "Hey Siri" followed by your instructions. From using it as a hub in Home app to as a Bluetooth speaker, it works like a charm. This being a good speaker, gives amazing music output. With most recent updates, it also has lossless sound, but I am eagerly waiting for spatial sound to be played using iPhone on Mini. All in all, this is the best Apple device that I use at my house to control other gadgets and also use it as a speaker.

Comes in handy, especially when family member needs to ping his phone to find it. The audio sounds pretty good too.

Sounds good. However, I find myself not using it as much as I wanted to use it. I have Alexa's all over the house and they work better well for everything. I am deep into the apple ecosystem, so this made sense to get just find myself not using as much as I want to. It does have great features and they pair very well with all apple devices.

Sounds decent, but electronics are glitchy. Sometimes starts playing when I don’t want it to (and when I’m two floors away). Takes too long to pair with iPhone 13 Pro when I do want it to play. Sometimes decides it won’t play YouTube audio stream, sometimes OK with YouTube audio. That seems to be a known issue, and there is a work around, but why is this even a problem on a mature product from a quality company? I wish it could just be used as a simple Bluetooth speaker. I’m going to try an Echo Dot. I don’t need or want any of the smart home features, just a decent compact speaker.

Works great. ~ Some small setup issue but resolved it fairly quick. Just be sure to have apple-ID information complete & be sure the smart speaker isn’t sitting on or near home stereo speakers or high power devices like a home theater receiver. This way it receives an undisturbed signal from the home WiFi. A bookshelf or uncluttered nightstand is a good choice. ~ Don’t expect crazy loud volume of music from this unit. It can fill tiny/small rooms just beautifully, but for large open rooms will require an additional speaker for more a enjoyable music experience. I feel this size of this smart speaker is best suited for dorms or personal spaces. It’s larger companion is best suited for the larger/open spaces such as big living rooms. ~ Siri responds well, as long your internet connection is strong. Just be sure to pay attention yourself for Siri’s lights or Siri’s audio u’huh response. ~ I myself have been enjoying mine mainly as a low wattage sleep sounds speaker & occasional small music list listening. (In use for at least 10-hours dally, if not longer.) Before, I used a low watt surround sound system. But it still used too much electricity for me to be comfortable with. But this unit is perfect. When the speaker is asleep, it’s power consumption is almost nothing. That makes me happy as well.

For the size it has great sound. Price is also a great value, but kind of buggy at times.

HomePod is good. Like the sound quality, it has a decent bass to it. It’s good for small room.
