I already own the Big HomePod, and I’m very happy with it. Brought 3 of the mini homepods right before Christmas. I kept one and gave the other two as gifts. They are truly amazing. The functionality is the same the sound isn’t as immersive as the big one. But still sounds amazing. I don’t know how they did it, but they knocked it out the park with this one.

I listened to these play in the store, and decided to buy two for my family room. I know speakers can sound a lot different once you get them set up in your house. I took them home, powered them up, went through the setup options and paired them as a stereo pair. The sound really good. I did a sound comparison between the HomePods and my Bose Soundtouch 30's. The sound is pretty equal. I'm selling off my Bose. The setup up procedure is pretty simple. I also have an Apple TV. I can stream sound from the Apple Tv to my HomePods.

Bought two of these to create a stereo pair for the home office. Already have the full-size HomePods throughout my place. While the bass obviously isn't as strong as the larger version, the overall sound quality is still excellent.

Perfect at everything I need it for. They can always sense each other and know exactly which speaker makes the most sense to use. They also always know what room you are in and which accessories you are most likely talking about when speaking to Siri.

I recommend this HomePod Mini to any Apple integrated house hold that would like to expand into the home speaker market. I was easy to simple easy to setup and using it will feel very natural.

Quite good overall, definitely worth the $100 but I’d rather save some more to get the big one, still do the job on small places

Surprisingly good. Not as Deep/Bassy as the original HomePod but this little speaker still packs a punch.

Good addition to my Apple speaker family. I love how I can just lay my iPhone nearby and the music transfers to the HomePod. Small, but has a great sound.

I have several homepods, so I was curious how the mini would sound. While it doesn't get the bass sound that the homepod gets, it's a lot cheaper (1/3 the price), so I would recommend these. One barely fills a room. I prefer having a stereo pair.

I liked it, but it ties you to the apple eco system and I have a lot of smart devices that didn't support it. If you have a lot of apple stuff definitely get one, I loved using Siri with it and listening to podcasts on my desk. I just didn't use it as much as I would have wanted.

Love the HomePod mini. We have 5 of them, in different rooms. Love that it also tells temperature and humidity in that room. In addition to playing music, I ask Siri daily "hey what is the temperature outside" and she's quick to let me know. We also use this (2 in tandem, actually) as the external speakers for our main TV, gives a surround sound experience.

Apple never ceases to amaze me! Wish I had had this years ago, very very easy to set up, and works perfectly! 65 years old, been a musician all my life, and for the past 30 years running my own studio, I know what sounds good and what doesn't sound good, and I am totally blown away at how good the sound is coming from this little ball, absolutely amazing sound quality, and I can control every light, thermostat, pretty much everything in the house with my voice. Just bought another one to go upstairs, very highly recommend!

Setting up smart home through Home Assistant and find Homekit/Apple way easier/simpler to integrate than Amazon. Switching all of the Echo Dots to Homepod Minis. Impressed with sound quality and integration to the rest of our apple devices! You do pay more, but you don't get annoying adds or nearly as many instances of "why are you listening to me I said zyprexa"

I was super excited when this was announced. It’s still a bit limited in what it can do, but I’m keeping it in hopes Apple will continue to add features. I don’t have Apple Music, so if you have it, you likely will have a more positive reaction to the device than I do. I’m still a Spotify user and this does work with it thru Airplay 2, but it’s not as seamless as Apple Music. Currently I use it to stream music and I pair it with an Apple TV. I don’t have a large house, so I don’t feel the need to pair two of these for stereo. In my opinion, it’s plenty loud on its own, and it’s better than any other Bluetooth speaker I’ve had. I also have no use for intercom, so I can’t report about it. I’d love to be able to pair it with a Roku in a spare room since that is connected to a crappy old TV, but doubt Apple will permit that. I had some store credit so for what I paid, I’m happy with this mini. Just hoping that some additional features can be added (and that I could figure out why it defaults to random songs from my iTunes library that I haven’t played in years). However I know being an early adopter on a new product, these are growing pains and I’m willing to deal with them for the security that Apple products offer over some other competitors.

Small little ball of fun. Already have the second gen Homepod for my living room and now wanted a smaller one for my bedroom. It does lack on bass but it still sounds good.

The sound quality is amazing for a device of this size. HomeKit integration is great and easy to accomplish. If you are already in the Apple ecosystem, this is THE voice activated device you should get. It integrates with Apple TV and other Apple devices seamlessly.

Great sound for a smaller speaker. Easy to set up.

I put this in my bedroom to use with my Apple TV. The thing I love most is that I can listen to shows without having to deal with the blue light from my TV screen - which is nice, since I like to fall asleep listening to Forensic Files.

I have now put this in the bedroom getting another one for the other nightstand so we can have surround sound with our Apple TV in the bedroom.
