As someone who has used Amazon devices for years now, I've had my fair share of mishaps with Alexa so I decided to fork out the extra money for a HomePod. Alexa wouldn't always hear me, even when the room was silent, or she would, but wouldn't complete my request (play music, turn on lights, etc.), but Siri hasn't had nearly as many issues. I was lucky enough to find this on sale for $200 and since I have several other Apple products, it works seamlessly with their ecosystem, just as you would suspect. I think it sounds great, but I personally wouldn't pay more that $250 for it, so try to find it on sale!

Very nice product. Aesthetically pleasing and solid sound delivery. Also acts as a home hub for my compatible smart devices.

The HomePod mini delivers impressive sound quality for its size, truly packing a punch. While it’s not quite as powerful as the regular HomePod, it still offers a rich audio experience. Having it in your room, or pairing two for a stereo setup, creates a cozy, home theater vibe that’s perfect for an apartment.

It has a nice quality sound to it, it also is a great Bluetooth speaker with Wi-Fi ability. But the only downside is it doesn’t have the ability to connect directly by usb to my Mac mini as a speaker it’s all Bluetooth connection. It would’ve been great to have both options I would recommend it to a friend specifically for Bluetooth

You can never go wrong with Apple. This mini HomePod is loud! I love that it connects with my Apple TV that is connected to my sound bar in my living room so when I listen to music I hear it everywhere in my apartment.

I purchased 2 original Homepods back when they were first released, and could not believe the sound that came from such a small speaker. this one is way smaller, and the sound is almost as good.

I can’t really post a Solid review on this item ‘ but when I did hear it play ‘ it was medium loud , not the loudest , and it takes time to get adjusted to it , I did like the fact it responds like an AI , I’ll post more when I spend a weekend alone with it ,

I just love these HomePod Mini’s we we have purchased 4 and set them up all over the house. We also use them as a hub to control our doors, tv and garage in HomeKit. Needless to say the sound quality is Awesome

If you use Siri or Apple Music this is a must have! Wasn’t sure about the product when I purchased it but it is amazing super easy setup and operation. Turns your whole house into voice controlled jukebox and the sound is unbelievable for such a small device.

Overall a solid addition to my apple home. The sound quality is pretty decent. Very little base, but give its size it’s acceptable. Integrates seamlessly into my Apple Home.

Great mini speaker. I thought you would be able to pair the small ones with the larger ones but you cannot so I had to buy an extra mini. It was easy to set up but its been difficult utilizing this speaker as my tv speaker instead of the default ones.

Great features and great sound out of something so small. My main reason to get it was to play music at a reasonable volume and to control the temperature in my room compared to the rest of the house using the new update which measures temperature and humidity in the room. Using automations my room stays at a cool temp when hot outside and shuts off my window unit when it’s getting chilly. Not capable of filling your room with a large sound, but great for the morning while getting dressed. Great at saying bedtime stories and picks up my voice with ease.

Homepod mini has great sound and love the seamless transition the speaker allows from my phone

This HomePod mini sits on my nightstand and makes a great replacement for an old alarm clock. I have Siri wake me with my favorite U2 song and then stream my favorite station, give me the weather report. Surprising great sound from such a small speaker.

Apple HomePod Mini is a must purchase for any Apple product user. This can be used in any room in the house. It has also inspired me to integrate more Apple HomeKit items into my home and use Siri more for various things like turning on my lights and asking her what the weather is. I have 2 of these speakers paired in my living room, making them a single surround sound speaker. These can then be selected to play sound in addition to my Tv's soundbar for any program I am watching on my 4K apple Tv. One fun thing (sort of :-() ) is that I originally created my Apple HomeKit network at my parents house after I purchased my first HomePod mini. At the time, I gave them access so they could play music on it as well. After I returned home, they were able to turn on and off my music on the HomePod mini, as well as all of my lights from almost 1000 miles away.

Integrates Siri into your home in a beautiful form factor packed with amazing sound. I was pleasantly surprised by HomePod’s ability to spread music throughout the room, creating a sense of sound coming from around the room. Set up was incredibly simple using your iPhone to seamlessly share your home network details and adding to your Apple Home app. I was amazed at how well Siri could detect my voice commands from two rooms away. No need to have an Alexa device in every room! Well worth the investment.

I wanted something similar to Alexa but made by Apple. It’s okay but I may not keep it. I feel the cons outweighs the pros with this little pod. While the sound is quite loud for such a small little speaker, the glitches I’ve experienced with this pod makes me want to return it. I love the intercom feature and that I it works with the Apple Eco-System but I’ve noticed when I try to play music on my Apple TV in the living room, it plays on the pod in the bedroom instead. For it to stop playing I have to use the home app to pause the music on the pod, AirPlay the music from my phone to the Apple TV and sometimes it’ll work. Other times I have to unplug the pod. It’s really annoying and while it’s not too expensive, for the price it shouldn’t be so glitchy. Music will randomly stop playing when it chooses too and half the time “Hey Siri” doesn’t even work.

I bought 4 at one time to set up as stereo pairs in two different rooms. The setup was easy. The sound is great. They work well with each of the Apple TVs they share a room with. My issue is how frequently they disconnect from WiFi. I have to restart the pairs once or twice a week. Each time I use my Apple TV 4k I have to go to the audio setting to have the sound come out of the speakers as well as the TV. Siri is not as "smart" as Alexa or Google which was expected prior to purchase. I purchased Homepod because I am so invested in the Apple ecosystem that it just seemed a natural addition. Outside the nuances, they perform exactly how I expected.

I am so very pleased with my purchase of my Apple - HomePod mini. TThis small speaker has a lot of punch and other features I am still discovering. I would not have a problem recommending this item for purchase to both my friends and family.
