Well the Google and Amazon Echo may be cheaper, but if you care about privacy then the Apple HomePod mini is the one to get. Even Siri is getting better with this, although no match for Google right now. The really nice thing is the integration of course with the rest of the Apple ecosystem, so best if you are all in on that. Finally, the sound quality is good and you can literally whisper in a room and it hears you.

Sound was excellent, way better than I expected. Works with Apple TV to make surround sound. I am very pleased with this purchase and definitely recommend them .

It integrates well with the rest of the Apple products I have. Luckily the price is okay compared to other speakers on the market, if it were any more expensive it wouldn’t be worth it to me. That why the original HomePod was discontinued. It was way overpriced.

Sound is crisp and clear, but connectivity can be troublesome when switching between devices.

This speaker sounds great for its size and works very well with a current iOS device.

Love this. I have it in my kitchen and use it for when I can’t use my hands for something. I play music from it, can unlock my front door, control my lights and cameras, and it allows me to access my home while I’m away. This serves as a hub for my home with Apple HomeKit

I was quite surprised at the size when I took to out of the box and was concerned that the sound would be lacking with the bass. I was pleasantly surprised! This little device packs enough bass that you will not be disappointed. I have the standard size HomePod throughout my home and in some places, this will fit perfectly.

It sounds great and works really seamlessly. All around a great purchase.

Almost works perfectly out of the box, it was easy to set up with one little hiccup, it wouldn't update automatically, and took some time getting to apply the update. After the update was complete I haven't had an issue, and it asked if I wanted to use it as a speaker for my Apple TV.

I bought the HomePod mini after my HomePod purchase. It was purchased because of size, cost, and location that it was going to be use in. Although it does not have the sound that the HomePod has, it is still very good for the room it is being use in. Because of the size, I am able to easily move it to different locations.

It’s really good better then alexia for sure I have had a alexia I have noticed that for alexia I have to say her name multiple times for her to listen to me this is not the case for HomePod mine she listens to me in any part of the room and the sound is great I have a jbl and it sound just like it but better sound quality

I love the Sound Quality Easy to set up Easy to Use

First, between my Sonos array, Google Max, and other similar function devices the HomePod is certainly my favorite for listening to music. It sounds great and fills the room and even when the volume is loud Siri can still here my commands with just regular level voice. Where I’m let down is with the “smart” capabilities of this device even when compared to the abilities of Siri on my phone. I’m already deep in the Apple garden and totally happy with the choice but still a bit let down with the “smarts” of the HomePod. Hoping that updates give me the functionality to control the Apple TV, get multi-room up and running, and just really nail down some more basics. I listen to a lot of music and podcasts at home, bought two HomePods one for the living room and one for a bedroom, and if you want a speaker that’s very capable and takes up a small footprint this is a wonderful little device.
