The homePod is an awesome speaker with great loud sound. I also like how it looks and its cool white color. The things that I hate about it is its expensive price tag and that its Siri is not as smart as Alexa. For this reason, I only use this as an extended speaker of my iphone. It gets pretty useless and unhandy if you don’t subscribe to Apple Music. So unless you have an Apple Music subscription, I recommend that you buy this HomePod.

Would have given it 5 stars but this speaker doesn't have that great of bass but the sound quality is very good except for it not having very much bass

Awesome speaker with great sound and bass. Connects with your iPhone and Apple TV with ease and can connect to the Apple TV automatically which makes it super easy to watch tv with a great speaker! I ended up buying a second one to get the stereo sound. I love this speaker and Apple messed up by discontinuing it.

We use this in the bathroom. Sound is great and listen to music, podcasts when getting ready in the morning

Good speaker but definitely is not on-par with its big brother. Sound is good, but if you have the full-size user, you will notice a sound difference right away.

The sound on these speakers is objectively great. It has a very low bass levels and very notable treble. Great for anyone who listens to hip-hop/pop/edm. They don't however sound that great in the mids (voices). I will say the speakers used here are far greater than those found in any other voice assistant speakers.

Purchased this item as a gift based on in-store demo and previous experiences with Apple products. Build and sound quality are very good for the price.

The speaker itself is great, the sound is great for your bedroom but not loud enough for parties. It’s a bit challenging to set up

Average smart system but fundamentally sound so good for my purposes

I have been looking for an Alexa alternative for a while now... while amazon talks a lot about compatibility with devices and what they can do for you... they leave a gray area when you look at privacy. And the fact that all the recordings are left in your amazon account, kinda concerned me... so being part of the Apple Ecosystem, and how good they are with privacy and security, I decided to give HomePod a try when best buy had them on sale. Picked up two. Right away I noticed the quality of sound, so clear and crisp, you can tell that the HomePod was made for a audiophile, I couldn’t believe from a small little thing. Once I did the software update, I pair them on stereo mode and wow it really does it. I decided to watch a movie and connect them to the Apple TV. Pretty good sound there too... would they replace my surround? Probably not but If you have an apartment and a smaller living room that is a great sound bar for you. And wireless!! Also with AirPlay 2 you can hand off music from your phone to your HomePod that’s very cool. Now Alexa can definitely do more, but if you download IFTTT you can setup a bunch of shortcuts that will work with Siri.

Great sound, there is a delay when using it to watch movies from my Mac mini unless I use it while playing through google chrome.
