very happy with these, we have several for multi room music. with proper placement depending on the size of the room it is in these sound great. Additionally you can pair 2 for stereo in any given room. setup is quick and easy and if your home/ environment is mainly an apple eco system, every thing just works together. My favorite feature is the voice recognition so I can just tell it to play my playlist of choice, and it does and My wife can tell another to play her playlist of choice and it does... we have separate apple IDs/ accounts and some differing tastes in music, or we can choose to play something on all of them throughout the house.

Sounds surprisingly good for something this small. If you’re in the “Apple Ecosystem” then I’d highly recommend. Being able to play music without tying up your phone is huge. We use it to play calming music for the dogs when we’re gone during the day. I plan on getting more. I do wish it was closer to $75 vs $100

Siri was always very helpful, from shortcuts to just telling me the weather in the morning I always found Siri helpful. Siri just got an upgrade. My new HomePod mini (in white) looks nicer and doesn’t stand out as much as my old black Amazon Alexa. I mostly use my HomePod to control lights, play music, and sleep sounds at night. Siri does all this very well. In terms of other capabilities, Siri can’t play games unless you program a shortcut (which takes a long time) but seeing as I didn’t use that feature much, I’m not upset. The sound that comes out of this little speaker is amazing. I can turn it all the way up in my bedroom and still hear it cooking in the kitchen. It is my only HomePod, so I don’t use the intercom feature and can’t comment on that. The compatibility with non-apple apps is alright. You can’t set Spotify as your default app but you can hold your phone close to the HomePod while playing music on Spotify and have the sound switch over, and you can play by using share play on your phone. None of it takes too much effort and it’s cheaper than paying for Apple Music every month. Overall, I’m more than satisfied with this purchase. It’s a quality speaker at a decent price (for apple at least) and it comes through.

Very responsive, shockingly good speaker, and surprisingly good microphone. Only downside of that is sometimes it takes over a query I ask my phone if it’s just barely able to hear me, and some questions can only be answered from iPhone, which I thought I was doing in the first place.

It is easy to set-up. It is amazingly small for it’s sound out put and sound quality. I have found the HomePod mini to be very useful. I especially when I use it with one of the home hub electrical plugs. I have found The look of the home pod mini to be pleasing yet unobtrusive. Thinking about giving a home pod mini as a gift for an upcoming birthday day present.

    Homepod mini

Apple homepods mini delivers good sound and quality is there. Great for users with Apple devices in home already. It doesn’t compare to the original homepods which can find on sale for $200. As for the $100 price on the mini I think is alittle much because there are so many other smart speakers about the same size that are cheaper. Apple needs to step their game up and have more smart devices that are HomeKit compatible. Idk if it’s a quality control thing or not but I am an Apple user for the most part but a lot of my devices like light bulbs and security cameras aren’t HomeKit compatible so I can’t use that app to consolidate all my devices to one app. So end up having google for thermastat and internet, Alexa echo 5 and old dot which use for ring doorbell and blink camera. So to be honest unless u don’t like the size of original homepod and u are an Apple house then maybe consider this. Sound quality is pretty descent. It doesn’t get too loud or have deep bass like the big homepods. Hey Siri seems to pick up my voice within the room but original homepod definitely did a way better job with that and everything else. I do have to say I love sound quality of the apple homepods they are very clear and hear nice crisp sounds that normal are drowned out or unnoticeable. I have in the bedroom 2 original homepods grouped together for stereo sound on ether side of beds nightstand and have mini homepod on opposite side of room by wall in center of room and I play music on all three at same time. I like that I’m able to adjust the sound level individually between them while all are playing the same source. With homepods grouped u can only control volume as if they were one. If unpair them from each other then u can set their volume separately which is nice because I can tune the volume of all 3 to make it feel like I’m in the center between them when I’m really laying on bed close to 1 of big homepods.

I purchased the HomePod mini to pair with my iPod and Mac mini to have wireless sound for both devices in my office. The HomePod mini is impressive with the ease of connecting any Apple device. Overall, the sound quality is exceptional, particularly bass response, from such a small sound device. I plan to purchase a second one and create a stereo pair.

Great speaker for the price and size.I was skeptical about a speaker this small sounding good and being able to fill a room with sound. We have an open concept home (living room, dining room and kitchen all one big space) and this speaker easily fills this space. Easy connectivity and easy to interface with. Would definitely recommend!

These are great to place in rooms for surprisinglly good sound. Economical enough to use on mutiple roooms. Siri enables voice control of lights, etc. A nice feature for larger homes, is the intercom feature, cor instance you can talk to kids in the bonus room, I prefer apple because they proyect your data and privacy. This is a big deal, because data brokers will pay high dollar for personal information. With Apple, your data is encryted end to end, and kept local. Apple does not share your data without your permission. I have home kit setup with nanoleafe ligjts. Anyone can enter a room and turn the lights on with voice commands. This is available from other vendors, such as google snd Amazon, however your data is their produd to use and share. With this speaker, you dont need to sacrifice your privacy for features.

This is such a fun and great addition to your home. Quality is enough to think “Okay, okay Apple, I see you.” My recommendation is to put it in/near a corner, so you have sound echoing up and off the walls, and you’ll be a happy camper. The button is a little sensitive and will start playing its own radio if you’re not careful, but it does a great job of connection to your devices and being easy to “see”. I connect mine to my Apple TV and have several going through my home, and it’s awesome for chill music sessions during the day, and movie night is a blast.

If you were looking for deep, rich bass and booming sound, that will fill a room, don’t go with us and spend the extra money for the big HomePod second generation. I got one of these as a gift a couple of Christmases ago and wanted to get another one to put on my wife’s nightstand. After getting them paired up, I will say that the stereo pair matching makes for a better movie watching experience, then just listening out of one HomePod mini. Of course, they will only work with Apple TV 4K‘s and above and don’t expect much out of the Siri assistant. Siri sucks! These things are constantly losing connection to the net work , and if you try to make Siri request, you’re more apt to yank the thing off your dresser or table and just check it across the wall. If you want to play your Apple Music go right ahead stream YouTube or Netflix go right ahead because that is what it is mainly going to be good for listening to music and not much else. They are very small , don’t take up too much room and are a good choice. If you want to get some quality sound on the cheap..

I love the Apple home pod. Design is very aesthetic. Very easy to setup and use when you have an apple device. Sound is awesome. I have 6 throughout the house and music plays Simultaneously with no delay. Best Investment ever. I use them to control lights, provide whole house sound system and intercom system.

The HomePod mini is one of those products you don’t realize you need until you have it. I use it every day — from playing music in the morning to setting reminders and controlling smart devices at home. The sound quality is surprisingly powerful for such a small speaker, and it fills the room really well. What I like most is how seamless it works with the Apple ecosystem. It connects instantly with my other devices, and everything just works without any issues. Siri is very responsive, and it’s become part of my daily routine — whether I’m cooking, getting ready, or just relaxing. For the size and price, this is a great value. If you’re already using Apple products, this is an easy upgrade to your setup. Highly recommended. I use it at home while preparing meals or managing my day

I was skeptical at first because of its size, but the sound is really good. Siri functions are prompt and of course works well with my Home Kit devices. I like that fact that they are somewhat affordable and you can play music and conduct Siri functions throughout the house. Haven't used the intercom function but, that a nice plus

The HomePod mini sounds great! I bought two to put in a stereo pair and they sound amazing! The only problem is that with certain internet modems they can have issues. I previously had spectrum but when I switched to AT&T all my issues went away. They are extremely easy to setup and look modern so they blend in almost anywhere.

    Replaced our Sonos 1’s

We love our HomePod Minis. We have two old large HomePods, but they don’t work with a lot our smart devices. I originally bought one to sync with our smart doorlock and thermostat in our office because they were so far away from our Apple TV. We would loose the signal to our devices. But both the wife and i loved the sound so much, we decided to buy another to replace our Sonos 1’s in the office. The next two are now in our garage and once again replacing the Sonos 1’s because of their size and because they help sync our smart garage door and smart deadbolt with our HomeKit system. Now are they truly better than our old Sonos 1’s, not in sound quality. But HomePod Minis are very close, yet it is their size, smarts and connectivity is the big reason we replaced our Sonos 1’s.
