Love it it’s better then a Alexa and works very well with my iphone

I returned my Bose Soundlink 10 and paid the well worth difference to move to the apple homepod. This device has not received the proper spotlight it deserves. The device is an excellent addition to my apple home ecosystem. The sound quality and deep base is superior to most of my prior 5.1 component systems over the last 20 years. A product that is quality and futuristic in quality and design. Siri is what Siri is, but if I have to pick an overlord that listens to me at all times, but comfort is more with Apple than any other options that have more to gain by collecting data from me.

love these little powerful speakers! makes a good add on to my setup

I own a few other speakers (Bose, echo dot, google mini) this is by far the best of the bunch. Sound is great. And works seamlessly with other Apple products. I was also able to find this as an open box item while it was on sale which didn’t hurt either.

Underwhelming by itself, a good experience with two, and an amazing experience with two and a regular HomePod.

Like the title says, I’m really enjoying the home pod mini. This is the first apple smart home product that I’ve bought and I can say I will be buying more. I still have Amazon echo devices but I really think I will start replacing them with apple devices.

This speaker has added some good fun to our household. The sound is very good. It is very convenient in the kitchen or somewhere else to control Apple Music. We do move it around to wherever we need it. I haven’t really explored the “smart speaker” features much. The configuration through the Home iOS app is awful. It lacks manual configuration such as which wireless SSID to connect to. I have been unable to get voice recognition to work for one member of our family. iOS simply refuses to produce the “recognize my voice” option on their iOS devices. The speaker itself does not work for this person when saying “I am xxxx”, then asking “who am I?” produces “I don’t know” for that person, but it works for the rest of us. It’s a major feature that simply doesn’t work for everyone in the house. I purchased it mainly for convenient Apple Music controlled by Siri and good sound which it does well. Music is quite pleasing out of it. I hope that the software and configuration options come along in time. Apple needs to realize that we do, in fact, want to have access to device configuration, especially as new generations grow up with computing.
