I got this for my dad for Christmas. He absolutely loves it. This speaker is tiny and lightweight but for the size it sounds amazing. Vocals are clear and crisp. Bass is decent, it’s tight and punchy. It’s not going to blow you away with bass, but it does enough to make the music sound great. Even at its highest sound level this speaker does not distort. Siri works like what you would expect it to from Siri. This is more for sound then it is for its smart home capability. Overall my dad was really happy and I was also satisfied with it myself. Good speaker for $99 and amazing sound for the size.

Overall, I recommend this to a friend. I bought this for my boyfriend and he absolutely loves it. It perfect for listening to music, and the speakers are just such great quality. It's about the size of my hand, but very loud.

Great price for what you're getting. I couldn't justify getting the larger HomePod and this is perfect. Small enough to not stand out but can still get pretty loud if you plan to use it as a speaker/intercom in your house. I've used Amazon Alexa previously and this is much nicer.

The HomePod delivers an equisite sound. BestBuy had it at a reasonable price. I love the way it sounds. I am so happy with my purchase.

Connects with a single cable and is easy to setup. Needs to be connected to WiFi. Spotify users: There is a semi lag because it supports Spotify only through AirPlay, still usable though. Don’t buy this for purely for playing music, there’s better options for less money for that. Buy this if you want a semi smart speaker that easily works with playing from your iPhone or Mac etc. That being said. sound quality is better than you expect for its size. Fills my small bedroom quite well and serves it purpose. A living room can work too but be ready to set it at max volume to fill that space. Bass is good for size but still lacks for hip hop. Overall, could be priced maybe 20 less but it’s Apple so you know how that goes. Best smart speaker for iPhone users.

Don’t let the size fool you this little speaker is LOUD and crisp. I use it daily to play music, set timers, check the weather, and even control lights around the house. The sound quality is way richer than I expected, with clear highs and surprisingly deep bass. Siri responds instantly, even when music’s playing, and I love how it blends into my space without taking up room. It's not just a speaker, it’s my daily assistant, mood-setter, and lowkey DJ. Definitely recommend grabbing one (or two) if you want that clean Apple experience with sound that hits.

Set up multiple HomePod Mini speakers for music throughout the house, all controlled by voice or phone. The speakers were relatively easy to set up, and they can be placed out of the way, either hidden or visible.

As with most Apple products quality and ease of use is great. I find this smart speaker fits right into the Apple eco system. It has a good sound when playing music and Siri to automate functions around the house using the Apple Home app. Unlike it's larger version it comes in a verity of colors to match your homes decor.

Excellent sound quality and volume especially considering how small it is. Siri commands work just as well as on iPhone. My only complaint is more Apple wide, which is the deliberate lack of interoperability with anything non Apple (including bluetooth). So, no, it is not a bluetooth speaker. No, it will not work with Android. No, there are no ports. No, it is not rechargeable/have batteries. Yes, it is a Homekit hub and also can control Matter devices natively. Yes, it supports 5g wi-fi signals n band only.

It arrived on time and I have loved it ever since. I have an iPhone and use Apple Music and this fits right in. I have not had any problem with it. I was also happy to see that it came with a power brick in the box. The quality of sound is very good at all volumes. Before this I had the echo dot and this has much much better sound quality and it also goes much louder if you need it to. While I was disappointed that this would not work with my other smart home accessories this becomes more and more worth it with every other apple device or product that you add to this

I’m already in the Apple Eco System, so I thought I’d give this a try. Love: Sound! Great highs and lows plus fills my office. Linkable, haven’t tried yet, but plan to at my house. Compact. Perfectly fits on a shelf in the corner. Connectivity. Touch my phone to the Pod and walla! Music comes through! Downsides: NOT Bluetooth! Therefore, when WiFi is down, no music, no connectivity. If there is a work around, I haven’t discovered it yet. Cable. The cable is color coordinated and braided, but there is no battery option. To move to another room, you are stuck with unplugging. All in all, a good speaker for the price if you are already committed to the Applesphere.

So much better then the Alexa. I am an Apple person and I love how easy I can link it with my phone. I use one in my living room for music ( it’s small but has pretty good sound) and loved it so much I got one for my nursery. With a new born my hands are always full, the Apple home pod mini is perfect for assisting me to turn on the night light and singing lullabies or setting timers while I nurture my little one. Also, I love the fact that I can sync them and send voice memos to husband in the other room if I need another set of hands.

Very versatile, I bought multiple HomePod minis, I agree with all those who say you have to be invested in the Apple ecosystem to get the most benefits. My primary goal was to have whole house audio without installing speakers and running cables to every room. It works flawlessly! Sound quality is amazing for its size. I can stream audio from pretty much every app on my phone or from my appletv 4k. Best feature has the be the intercom. I can send messages from anywhere to any of the HomePods. For me, best investment I could’ve made

I found the HomePod Mini to be pretty much as described by Apple and BestBuy. It is easy to set up and use and the sound is very good considering the size of the product. I bought the HomePod mini primarily as a speaker to play music in my home office and it serves that purpose very well. I generally do no use the smart features but it is nice to have them if needed.

The Apple HomePods are a great addition to any home. Especially if you run HomeKit. This is my 9th one, lol. I have them everywhere. I play music on them daily. Even when I am not home, music plays for my fur babies. The sound and volume levels are comparable for this size device and quite a nice decor piece in many colors. They are a fun little speaker and home hub.

Does everything the original HomePod does but is so much easier to place somewhere in living room or bed room and be less noticeable. The sound is really good if you are going to use for playing music. If using in a living room / common space I’d recommend getting two and syncing them. Still not going to have the database of information/search function that units from Google or Amazon have, but if you are in the Apple Ecosystem this is without doubt the way to go for home smart speakers. Price point is right on, well worth it.
