I use this in the kitchen to listen to music while we entertain friends and family. This has excellent sound quality and I love how easy it is to use with my iPhone and apple play. You can set up several of these around the house and play the same music through all of them. You can also use them as intercoms. It's a perfect solution for people looking to add music and functionality without having to run cables through your house.

I really like the small size. I bought it mainly to serve as a hub for Homekit. It’s super sensitive so don’t try to get Siri on your phone if nearby- the pod will pick up. The speaker sounds good for a small space. Overall, happy with the purchase. If I wanted a speaker for a large space I’d pick the Homepod.

This Mini HomePod is awesome. Sounds great and very easy to setup and use, small enough to fit on a desk.

Significant improvement in Siri! Love the intercom feature and HomeKit integration. Also wonderful sound quality.

Amazing sound quality easy to use easy to set up!!

I was a bit skeptical about the sound and functionality with this since we have to regular homepods and knew the sound wouldn’t be the same. While the regular homepods have much better sound, the HomePod mini has an incredibly loud and high fidelity experience. I was so surprised at how awesome this sounded and how much bass it has for a speaker less than 4 inches high. I would continue to buy these fir every room in my house just by the sound quality alone

Audio: Apple stuffed this device with loads of sophisticated audio components—seven tweeters, a high-excursion subwoofer, and six microphones—as well as, to make it all work, one of Apple’s own A8 chips, like those used in iPhones. The result is an excellent deep, rich audio that sounds fantastic. The speaker is easy to set up and effortless to use, as long as you're playing Apple Music. Smart features: You can’t make calls to phones or other HomePods or create calendar appointments, or make use of any of the 15,000-plus smart skills (like games, Uber or Lyft requests, pizza delivery, and more) that have powered the popularity of Alexa or Google Home platform.

Excellent speaker with great features... Siri and music selection and Home app and intercom are all great features

Great sound solo or especially in pairs! I replaced a big Alexa set with a pair of these small ones and haven’t missed them. Super fast and easy setup too.

Purchased for an older woman who lives alone. She enjoys listening to her music. There is comfort knowing she can ask Siri to call for help if she falls.

Sounds clear, goes fairly loud and overall works great. Easy to airplay sound from a phone to it. Sound for the size is impressive, and I liked that the settings allow for bass boost or cut depending on where the HomePod is located (ie reducing bass if near a wall or corner).

The sound quality is impressive, great bass, seems to fill a very large space. Easy setup. Can play from desktop, 2 laptops, 2 iPhones. Siri integration is good, Homepod picks up voice commands from almost anywhere in the apartment. Use for music playback, control of smart lighting, kitchen timers, alarms. Happy with the purchase at a great price.

2 of these as rears, paired with an AppleTV sounds pretty good for a piece mailed Surround system. White noise in bedroom. So many use cases at a good price point. Only wish it had 3.5mm input and removable cord and the the ability to toggle Tidal or Spotify as the default music service but that's supposedly on it's way. Also: Siri isn't as "good" Alexa or Google because Apple doesn't harvest and sell your data. I'll gladly trade off privacy for less "good"

Very simple to setup - walks you through it and only a few steps. All very well designed to pair with the app. Have connected multiple accessories to it, used Siri and had it play music - so far, no issues or concerns whatsoever. Being able to remotely access the temperature and humidity is also a plus

I was kinda shocked on how well this device works . I love how small but powerful it is great for the kids ! I will say I was having a little trouble connecting my phone but once I updated my phone it was running smoothly! Not sure if that had anything to do with it or not . But overall it’s great for the price and a good gift to give !!

If you're invested in the Apple HomeKit and want a way to put Siri everywhere in your house, this is the way to do it. As with the original HomePod, mini's ability to pick up your voice even over its own music is exceptional. As a Siri listening device, this is amazing. As a speaker, if you want big sound in a small size and don't mind giving up some bass to get there, HomePod mini is a winner. It does produce a surprising amount of sound for as tiny as it is, and putting them in stereo pair makes it even more so. If you want the best overall audio quality, though, original HomePod is still the way to go.

Very easy to get up and running. Integrates perfectly with Apple's Home app. I've had no issues airplaying to this device and others at the same time. I really like the feature where you can send/receive audio from your phone by simply placing your phone on the homepod. Sound quality is excellent. Will probably buy a second one for the bedroom. One issue I've noticed so far is that a few times, the homepod will just start playing music.

Has great sound and Bass for a small speaker. Perfect for a bedroom but does not perform well in open spaces.

Not room thumping, but very good sound for such a small "orb". Setup was super easy. Hope the Intercom function works ok as that is my main need in our house. Gotta get the kiddos attention in the Bonus Room instead of yelling for all the neighborhood to hear. I can see jammin' to music in the Kitchen while cooking. Pretty darn nice for under $100 !! Happy camper so far....
