I really like my HomePod mini for its size it will easily fill an average sized bedroom loudly. Also, it responds fast and hears me very easily. Plus the blue color looks amazing and the white top doesn’t attract finger prints which keeps it looking nice. Siri does need improvement but for average requests it does great it’s only if you try and do multiple requests or something more complex that it struggles.

Had a original Homepod but ended up selling it. This is a much better smart speaker, but not nearly as good a speaker. Looks good, easy setup, and its cheap enough you can get 2 for Stereo. I am unsure if 4 Mini's would sound better then 1 OG Homepod, but I suspect then would. The main issue is that Siri is still dumb, and due to the way Apple does not default users into sharing data with them she will always be a bit behind Google and Amazon. I think its worth the small inconvenience to not have all my data know by a company, and sold to .... who knows !

We bought this with BBY reward points, as I was interested to learn the sound quality vs the Google Home Mini's we use at home. Firstly, it looks great. Secondly, the sound quality is amazing for a speaker that small. Thirdly, the sync with our Apple Music subscription is easy. The only problem this ex-pat family has is that unlike our Google Mini product, the HomePod Mini does to natively play the BBC radio stations from the UK - which is a major issue for us as we listen to them/have them on in the background a lot. Summary: Great product, but not yet perfect for ex-pats from the UK!

I had my doubts due to the size and the history apple has had with previous speaker items (beats, apple wired ear buds). But this was on sale and after watching apple reveal the HomePod. I must say it is everything they say it is. Sounds really good, super crisp with no speaker distortion, Great equalization and when you first turn it on to set up the HomePod it measures the sound to fit in the room that you’re going to be playing it in. Also Siri has had a major update with this HomePod system because I can be several feet away and she understands exactly what I ask her to do, if it’s changing the song, changing the volume, Siri is right on it. The HomePod is also great for the hub base along with my iPad. I loved this product so much I bought another one for my work studio and my fellow employees were instantly sold and both went out and bought one for each of there homes. The Apple HomePod is definitely worth every penny if you just want a great sounding stereo that’s even compact. Or a hub to run your smart home features off of this is the way to go.

I've had this for almost three months, and it's a great smart speaker. I was amazed at first by the sound quality and bass from such a small speaker. Apple's engineers know what they are doing. I had some hiccups at first with respect to the speaker not detecting my phone in the same wifi network when I would ask personal requests, but I suspect that may have been because of the subpar wifi router I had (or an OS bug). No regrets with this speaker.

I am deaf in one ear so I bought this to use in my bedroom on my nightstand. It enables me to hear my TV without having to turn the volume up so high. It is a small speaker with great sound. I also find it useful to ask Siri to play music or ask what the weather is going to be that day without having to lift a finger. Great product and easy to set up with  TV!

These speakers actually blew me away. They definitely are not the best on the market but they are really good. They are the best when you get more than one and use them as a stereo system.

Great sound quality and ease of use with HomeKit devices. Like many other electronics (not just Apple), it's not always about the tech specs. Sound quality can be subjective; some like more bass, some like less. For me, where this shines, is how seamlessly it integrates with other HomeKit devices. I bought this to place in the kitchen where I'm able to listen to music while cooking, set timers and use the intercom to announce when dinner's ready.

This little speaker is very impressive and a fantastic addition to my home. It does lack some deeper bass notes, but for its size and the majority of my listening (podcasts and YouTube) it works very well. I have several of these throughout my home, with one even in my shower so I’m never without my podcasts! I am disappointed they’ve discontinued the larger HomePod, but the little guys are certainly no slouches, especially at their price.

Great sound, great apple integration. Apple Music subscription is a must. All I have to say is "privacy anyone?" If you're tired of seeing the items you mention in your house pop up "all of a sudden" on your echo show because you know, Amazon is not listening all the time, then make the switch. Get 5 of these and have a great whole house experience. One note that I cannot for the life of me understand why Apple can't do it is turn these into a true intercom... Apple's version of "intercom" is kind of a joke. It's more of an announcement service. Intercom is a two-way communication. No matter, I'm safe and secure and sound great so I'm happy. Maybe an update will change that. BUY IT!

Amazing sound from this tiny speaker. Easy setup and integrated into my other devices simply. The only draw back is it doesn't integrate with as many third party apps as Alexa. Thankfully most of my smart home setup is already integrated with Homekit anyway, and things like audible can be played using AirPlay. I also love how it recognize's my kids voices and will play music they want but it won't show up on my recently played, it shows up on theirs.

I have other smart home devices, but have more Apple phones, iPad, etc.. Did I really need another device in my apartment?? I purchased the small device, had it delivered at work, and hooked it up at home. Best decision I ever made. Such a small speaker, but the sound has been perfect. Taping my iPhone to transfer music once I'm home has been very handy. I'll purchase a matching Homepod Mini in another week, to experience stereo sound.

I recently purchased the Apple HomePod mini in blue but ended up returning it. On the positive side, the HomePod mini offers excellent sound performance. The audio quality is impressive for its size, and the device responds swiftly to commands, which I appreciated. However, the primary issue I encountered was with Apple's HomeKit ecosystem. Despite the HomePod mini's capabilities, I found that HomeKit compatibility is quite limited when it comes to integrating with a variety of wireless devices that I already own. This limitation significantly affected my experience, as I couldn't connect the HomePod mini to several of my smart home devices. For those deeply invested in Apple's ecosystem and looking for a speaker that integrates seamlessly with other Apple devices, the HomePod mini is a great choice. The sound quality and responsiveness alone make it a worthy consideration. Yet, it's important to be aware of the limitations regarding smart home integration. Apple has room for improvement in expanding the compatibility and functionality of their HomeKit ecosystem. Until then, the HomePod mini's utility as a smart home device might be limited for users with diverse smart home products.

For such a small device the volume gets decently loud. The microphone is excellent and can sometimes detect a “hey Siri” whisper in the same room. Voice recognition is good. Siri is responsive and fast. I previously had these paired to my AppleTV to work in stereo since my TVs speakers are bad. Worked well enough but not entirely seamless. If you want a smart speaker and very integrated in the Apple ecosystem this will be excellent for you.

I’ve been slowly building my smart home over a few years. The last piece I needed was the voice command options that the HomePod brought. I wasn’t willing to pay 300 for a HomePod that would essentially just be used as an expensive Alexa. The HomePod mini is perfect. The small speaker packs a big punch. I can hear and be heard through the speaker anywhere in my apartment. I trust Apple with my always on microphones much more than Amazon or google.
