Great intercom system. This is a great first step, but apple you still need to produce one with a screen.

I love my HomePods. They work seamlessly as stereo speakers for my Apple TV and make using HomeKit pretty easy. If you're picky about sound quality I would recommend getting 2. Also, wait until they're on sale to buy them at Best Buy.

I first purchased one of these for myself in the bathroom The thing is awesome decided to buy one for the kids and they use it all the time especially for bedtime sounds we will play stream ambient sounds and it puts them right to sleep

I have a couple of Echo/Alexa devices that I use to control home devices. Since I am deep into the Apple ecosystem, I was interested in getting a HomePod for intergration with my music and for better sound quality. When the price dropped by $100, I bought one. While control of my Wemo devices was faster and smoother with the HomePod, I do not agree with the seemingly vast majority of people who think the sound is great. I was very disappointed that mostly midrange and voice sounds were very muffled almost like the HomePod was wrapped in plastic. I moved the HomePod to other locations in the room with the same result. This was a significant negative for me since I prefer more crisp, clear sound. The base range was more than adequate, almost to the point of being too “boomy.” I am returning this HomePod and hoping the next generation that is rumored to be coming out by mid 2019 will address the sound issues or at least provide the option of manual sound adjustments.

Easy to set up; self installed via iPhone. Most of my music is older and not available on the match app so the speaker links to my iPhone for the times I want to listen to those, or to the match for more modern tunes. Siri has been improved too.

It’s cool if your an Apple user. Works with all Apple devices.

Out of all the speakers I've tried, The Apple homepod has always impressed me because its simple, Siri accessable, and it sounds fantastic. I never had issues and the fact that Siri listens for your commands even when playing music is extremely convenient.

I held out on buying this since I already own a high end audio system but I am glad I did. The convenience of using this smart speaker alone makes it worthwhile but the amazing audio out of this unit is an eye opener. Highly recommended.

I have two of these now paired in stereo which I use in tandem with my LG soundbar and subwoofer for music. Even by themselves the HomePod sound quality is amazing for its size. Too bad Apple discontinued them.

Great quality build and sound. Some frustration setting it up (specifically to work hue lights). Used to doing it with Amazon echo or hue hub without issue. Was unable to get them setup with apple’s home app. Not really a criticism of the speaker but, given it’s supposed to be easy I took off a star.

The HomePod brings functionality as a home assistant in a fantastic speaker with excellent sound quality. The handshake with other Apple devices works seamlessly as well. If you are at all invested in Apple’s universe of products, you will not be disappointed!

Better sound quality than the Sonos play 1, but the Sonos app is much easier than the Apple Music app. For the price of the HomePod you can get 2 play 1’s and make a stereo pair which sounds great. HomePod doesn’t get as loud as the Sonos. If the HomePod was cheaper and louder I would give it 5 stars because you can’t beat the sound quality.
