If you’re already in the Apple ecosystem, the HomePod mini will be an excellent addition. Working at home, I wanted something that I could stream music and help me with my daily schedule, as well as reminders and notes. It sounds great in my small office and doesn’t take up space.

I always wanted a apple HomePod but didn’t think it was worth the $200 price. Well then came the mini and at $100 it’s worth the money. The integration with my phone, iPad and Apple TV is great. The sound is crisp with great bass and it makes controlling my smart lights simple and easy.

This is a great little speaker!! It has rich sound and it’s unbelievable in such a small package! I bought 2 for great stereo sound, a yellow and this orange one. You never can go wrong on any Apple products.

Love the HomePod mini - we have 5 of them, in different rooms. Love that it also tells temperature and humidity in that room. In addition to playing music, I ask Siri daily "hey what is the temperature outside" and she's quick to let me know. Of course, she can do other things, too! We also use this (2 in tandem, actually) as the external speakers for our main TV, gives a surround sound experience.

There is a lot of sound coming out of this little speaker. Its the size of a large orange. Had to use my iPad to set it up because iPhone kept asking to sign in to iTunes for some reason. Once configured can its available to pair with apple devices. Like it so far and would recommend it. I bought the white one but there are other colors.

The Homepod Mini is a wonderful little device that is marred by what appear to be inevitable, touch panel "ghost touch" issues that render the device unusable due to it randomly activating without being touched. I have had two of the six Homepod Minis that I've purchased develop this issue. I have to assume it's a design defect. These little speakers are perfect when you want a lot of sound, but not too much sound. They integrate perfectly with the Apple ecosystem, and work marvelously as speakers paired with an Apple TV. I would recommend these if you purchase the Applecare plan with them. There are rumors there will be a product line refresh sometime in 2026, it wouldn't be a bad idea to wait if the launch of those are imminent.

I got these since my new house doesn't have the hard wired speakers with volume control in every room like my old house did AND because I used to stream from my Mac to my 2006 Apple TV that house L & R outputs that I ran to my receiver. When that died, I was unable to have "whole house" music on, which is how I mostly listened. I have the HomePod, which sounds much better, but is of course more expensive. These are great to put into other rooms so I can still hear music without having to have one main source of music coming from the den up really loud. There were some initial problems with them that might be because I'm not an Apple Music subscriber, but I got through that. The only thing is that I wish I could control volume on them individually from my phone. Maybe I can, but haven't fond it yet.

love this HomePod mini. This is my first HomePod and it's perfect. It's small, doesn't take up much space on my work desk, but still delivers. For music, it plays great. I have Apple Music so it syncs perfectly. Definitely adds a touch to my work desk as well. I love it. No complaints!

While it may not boast as many features as other smart speakers, the compatibility that comes with the HomePod is worth the price tag. The sound is great, with especially strong bass; and Siri is just as smart here as on the iPhone (for better or for worse). For those already using Apple products and HomeKit-enabled devices, this is a necessary addition to your smart home.

I love the HomePod mini! It works great! I did have trouble setting it up in the beginning. But I think that was my wife routers fault. I ended up having to connect to an extender in order to get airplay to work. But overall, now it it works! I love the handoff feature and using it for calls. And the sound is astonishing especially with music. Has great bass!

This tinny speaker will impress everyone. The quality of the sound is clear and the bass strong enough for it size. I bought the orange one for its bright color. I love it. Overall I would like to add more power to its volume. The interaction with Siri through it is really fun.

TBH initially I wasn't pleased with the sound of it at all! I've gotten so used to listening to music underneath the bump and vibration of (Beats) bass that I didn't recognize real quality any more. I didn't pay attention to the fact that I can clearly hear every instrument (individually) as well as every lyric spoke within the song playing. I didn't notice the awesomeness of this tiny little box until I was in a completely separate room away from it, yet I heard every sound described above in perfectly pristine quality as if the music was live & followed me into the next room. Suddenly I remembered the quality sound of the Bose products my parents owned. The beauty of clear, quality sound wrapping around you. The overall appearance of the speaker speaks to it not being a cheap reproduction. The texture is great to the touch. It feels very durable and is comfortable on the hands, easy to grip & carry.

I own four of these now, so I can set two stereo pairs. You won't blow the windows out but great sound. The added Siri functions, if you're an Apple junkie like myself, just make them even better. Easiest setup imaginable, total plug and play.

    Good voice assistant, better speaker

Amazing sound quality compared to other voice assistants. Easy to use, intuitive with the Apple ecosystem, and good cord length. Siri sends information to your phone more than making statements out loud like Alexa, which can be inconvenient at times. The cord does not detach from the device and I was not a fan of that, as any cord repairs would mean a whole unit replacement, and the integration with Spotify does not feel as native or intuitive as if you use Apple Music. If you want an assistant primarily for music, this has the best sound quality, however if you want an assistant for the assistance, Alexa outperforms Siri in terms of information it’s able to display and provide, witch a more consumer-friendly price-point, and is cheaper to repair/replace.

I am a heavy Apple user so everything integrates nicely and is very easy to set up and control. I was able to connect and control all my LIFX bulbs quickly and LOVE being able to just say to turn on and off certain lights. If you have Apple Music, it is great because you can ask it to play songs, identify songs by lyrics, and add to your personal library or playlist. I think it sounds better than all of the other smart speakers and has a sleek and slim design. It isn’t the smartest speaker compared to others and is very limited on answers when asking questions that are not music related. Overall, I am satisfied with the speaker since I use it mostly for the music and podcasts and leave the heavy searching for my phone or iPad.

Amazing, amazing sound! My family absolutely loves the HomePods, as we now have three and will probably buy one or two more once they go on sale again. The sound is amazing and fills the room easily, And the bass that comes off this thing is incredible. Having Siri Incorporated into the speaker only makes things better. Being able to get voice commands through using HomeKit makes life so much easier. Our speakers are used constantly between music, commands, updates on the weather and more. Wow they are not cheap like the echo, they are made for top quality sound which they deliver. I truly feel the HomePod is one of my best purchases in a long time.

I had one setting in front of my computer monitor and really liked the way jazz vocalists sounded like they were singing across a small room from me. Bought myself a 2nd one as a splurge birthday present and what a difference it makes (as a stereo pair). I have them setting about 5 feet apart on either side of my monitor and am very impressed at the sound stage they create. I have a pair of Polk Audio (70's vintage) studio monitors with a 100 watt per channel amp, and can easily stream in either direction, but find myself listening to the pair of HomePod minis. Hard to believe the sound Apple gets out of a speaker with only 1 (computational audio?) driver. HomePod Mini also adds thread support as a home automation hub for Apple HomeKit. This was just a fringe benefit I could use with Home accessories as I moved the hub off an Apple TV.

If you are deep in the apple ecosystem, like I am, you will appreciate the HomePod mini. Not only does it give you access to Siri, but it also tells you the temperature and humidity in the room and allows you to use it as a speaker for an Apple TV. In this instance, I purchased this HomePod to use in the kitchen for timer and to listen to music. This smart speaker is a great addition to my HomeKit accessories.

I am not going to fully repeat the positive reviews, they are right.. amazing sound, adapts to the room, phenomenal ability to hear your voice commands over any volume of music, easy to set up, easy to operate. Much better than Alexis in that regard, and better sound than Sonos. The haters are also right. They are they ones that give it 1 star and have not actually even heard the product. But they are right, it doesn't works with Android (only Apple Products), its NOT a bluetooth come one come all speaker, its NOT cheap (quality costs), and its NOT stereo. It was designed to be NONE of those. So yeah if you are going to hate something for things it was never designed to do.. without even hearing it.. go for it. I wish I had enough money to put one in every room.
