Great if you don’t have Alexa

Great first time smart speaker and if you’re on the Apple platform as far as phones tv etc. are concerned but not so great if you’ve been preconditioned to all the things Alexa and Amazon.

Only issue is it tries to use Apple Music by default, so I have to play my music from Spotify through my iPhone. But, this is to be expected since it's an Apple product.

Not bad for just being released.

Found out to do anything on it including set up you need to have WiFi. I was mainly looking to use it as a portable speaker around the house. If i would have had WiFi when we moved and i bought it, it probably would have been nicer. Functions of it are still good but could use a couple tweaks for the next model.

There are so many things I love about this HomePod! Among other things, I really like how I can pick and choose which room(s) to play my music in... I want one for every room in the house, including the bathrooms!
