Ought for my eight year old. You have to have Apple Music to play music.

This speaker has a great sound! I would recommend this speaker.

Nice Apple product, but…works very well with other Apple products, but is not a true BluTooth speaker that can be paired with other products. It also had other issues, including sound quality was not as hoped for. In the end, the pair of the HomePod Minis were returned.

I had to get a replacement speaker from the Apple store. I had this speaker for a month and it just stopped responding. I tried resetting it and it still wouldn’t respond. Took it to an Apple store for inspection and they ended up replacing it. It sounds great and Siri is awesome.

Excellent sound and clear bass. I didn’t like how integrated it was with my iPhone. It was an extra step to put my iPhone on speaker when a call came in. I wish you could turn off phone calls and just use it as a smart speaker but you can’t.

Amazing sound but sometimes Siri doesn’t hear ya or understand.

Room to grow as smart speaker. Sounds good not great. Get on sale.

I was kinda spectacle at first considering it was apple's first real standalone speaker but to my surprise i loved it. I do wish it was a little louder but aside from that as an nearly everything apple user its perfect and easy to use.

I have 2 black ones and thought I might as well throw in some color! It does freak me out how sensitive it is when it picks up the tv or randomly "listens" in.

No more getting up to turn on or off lights. Need lights brighter? Tell siri. Weather outside? Ask her? Change the thermostat in the house, she has got it. Very nice addition to our new smart home. If your an apple user this enables you to do some much more.

I love the HomePod. I mainly use it to listen to my music collection, but also control Hue lights, get some news and also weather reports. I also have it connected to my Messages, Reminders, Grocery list, etc. No effort to set up with an iPhone, iPad or the latest iPod.

Sounds great, Siri is lacking. How hard is it to say Hey Siri play this radio station at that time. Nope doesn't work. Wait for the $200 sale, not worth $300. Worth a purchase if trying to stay out of the Google/Amazon surveillance state.

If you have Alex or google home. You’re fine with that.

NOt as easy to use as Alexa but sounds way better.

I mostly use it as a Siri speaker to make my desk more hands free. Love it. It's not perfect but if you can work how apple wants you to, then it's perfect so... not for everyone. But if you have a bunch of apple devices, iOS, Apple TV, etc. It's a perfect addition.
