i love these and my bigger now-outdated homepods…put these in my bedroom and connected in stereo to the tv. at first was annoyed because these offered to be “assigned” to the apple tv in my room, but it acted kinda goofy when i’d want to do non-tv stuff (play podcast on phone, etc). but now, i CAN’T “assign it” to my tv, can only assign them “temporarily” and then it has to be reconnected again most every time i turn the tv on. hopefully there is a fix… the bigger homepods don’t seem to have this issue but i’m sure they will eventually since they don’t make them anymore.

Bought this for my college aged daughter for Xmas. She likes the small size and the sound. Easy to set up.

I was hesitant to buy this because let's face it, like most Apple products, this one is expensive as well.. But I love the sound of this speaker... Apple really did a good job here. At least so far it's been working great. It can reach a very high volume without distortion. Siri is very attentive and it looks nice too. Very happy with this purchase. Oh and you get 3 months of Apple music free too

The Minis don't have the big size that the OG HomePods do, but the sound quality is fantastic, they work seamlessly throughout my home, and for the price, they can't be beat. I will usually try to hold out for a sale here at Best Buy on them, and buy a couple. And because I am a Total Tech member, I get AppleCare+ included. It really can't be beat, and I prefer it to wading out into the shark-infested waters of the gray market for the OG home pods.

Love the sleek design. Easy to set up. Use it mostly for listening to podcasts.

Great size and good potency for multi base. I have both down Apple HomePod and HomePod mini and they are complementary.

Beautifully designed as usual, and sound quality is excellent especially when paired with a second HomePod mini to create two channel surround. Only drawback is that it’s not possible to also pair a subwoofer. Hopefully one day Apple will release a subwoofer to complement the overall surround sound. Still at $99 each, even a better deal than the larger sound than the full size HomePod at $300.
