I bought the HomePod today to replace an older Sonos Play 3. The sound quality on the Homepod is excellent and sounds much better than our older Sonos. I did have an issue that caused me significant delays, 2 calls to Apple Support and another visit to Best Buy. Hopefully my issue can help someone else from the headache that I experienced. When I first tried setting up the HomePod, it could not connect to WiFi. I tried several things and called Apple Support. They spent about 45 minutes on the phone with me trying various things. They ultimately determined the HomePod was bad and to exchange it at Best Buy. I packaged it back up and took it back. I then learned my Best Buy didn't have any more HomePods in stock, but a store about 10 miles away did. So off I went to that store and brought my second HomePod home. Upon trying to set this new one up, I got the same error message that it couldn't connect to WiFi. I have an Eero mesh router and upon googling HomePod and Eero issue, I discovered the fix in 30 seconds. Apparently having the WPA3 security enabled causes the HomePod unable to connect to the router. After disabling WPA3 I was able to connect the HomePod. I wish I would've googled that the first time as it would've saved me over 2 hours and 2 calls to Apple Support. I'm surprised Apple Support didn't think of this fix, but they apparently aren't aware of this issue. So in summation, I love the HomePod, but the setup was a pain. I hope this review can help others in a similar situation avoid wasting hours of their time.

Great sound from such a little speaker. Can’t go wrong with this especially if your already in the Apple ecosystem.

Apple products are always awesome. The audio quality of this speaker is fantastic! Don't buy it white if you're going to use it in the kitchen, though!

As an avid fan of Apple products, I was eager to try the HomePod Mini. However, I was disappointed with the volume. While it does have decent bass, it lacks the volume needed to fill my house with sound. I expected more from Apple in this aspect.

This little gem is fantastic. Works great with all my Apple devices,seamlessly connecting my music everywhere in my house. I ask for a song and boom it’s playing hands free

Pros: Good speaker for small size. Quick info like weather, time, football games being played, finding other Apple devices. Cons: doesn’t text or call very well. I have had multiple times when I have ask to call or text someone in my contact list and it called someone else. Not a big deal but a little embarrassing. When big iPhone updates come out you have to update every Apple device you have then the HomePods. Takes time and everything was linking up after the last update. Rather annoying.

Love apple products and love the ease of use. We didn’t want a true smart house but still wanted some of the conveniences. This fits the bill perfectly.

I love this product. I get to simply tell Siri to play my favorite music while I clean my house.

Sound quality is okay, but I didnt have a need for this device overall. However, when it works, it works quite well! Its easy to use, the quality is top notch as Apple usually is, but this isnt for me since I use Airpods to listen to music. I'd only recommend it if you dont want to get the bigger version and want a smaller speaker, but theres others out there that work even better than this one.

Great sound in such a small form factor. Blows away the other competitive smart speakers. Seemless connection to apple devices is a breeze and love using Siri to play music.

love my hompod! this is my second one, I love streaming my tv sound through them. highly recommend for stereo sound when you connect 2 to the same tv.

Apple home mini is a hit at my house . I gave it as a gift to my daughter and she loves it . No complaints fits in well with our other Apple products

Good sound but cannot turn off- you have to unplug it while your Bluetooth is on or everything automatically plays through here.

The HomePod mini is a little disappointed. I am not saying that is bad, It is really good. The sound compare to the HomePod is not as equal, but for a mini version of it. I find it really good. I thought it was going to the same as other mini speaker that are on the market. As always apple rid off their customer with the high prices they charge for the product. I think that apple would have sale it on half of the price they won't be losing anything. But, as an apple freak that I am. You know I have to have it. It doesn't matter the price. over all, I will say that it is not the HomePod, but It is really good if you are an apple freak as I am... HAHAHA

Syncing it with my current HomePod mini for stereo was extremely easy and has improved the tv watching experience

The sound is great. You can easily plug it in anywhere. And its easily accessible to everyone if the household.

Have two of these in stero setup on my desk. Great speakers for the size and price!

This HomePod mini has great sound for it tiny size. Has all the Siri and HomeKit functionality. Nice frantic covering doesn’t get dirty, and build quality is solid,
