Siri is not as intuitive as Alexa but it really not a deal breaker. My wife like to use it at night with ambient sounds as she goes to sleep. Easy to setup morning wake up times ,

Think about buying more to place around the house. Little extra work to get Spotify to play.

I'm also an Apple Music subscriber, so HomePod makes it very easy to listen to my music. I bought a 2nd HomePod in July to set up as a pair. Very pleased.
