Awesome sound

Integrates seamlessly, looks classy, and sounds incredible for its size (and I'll admit to being an audio snob...). We don't use lots of smart home features so I can't comment on that at this point. We'll see what the future holds...

My only gripe is wish that this speaker could be cordless. Instead of the need for a direct power supply, it would be nice if there was a charging doc. I like to situation the speaker on my bar and the cord is unsightly.

While Alexa and google listen to you all the time Apple does not. The HomePod has good speakers and 7 microphones so it can hear you quite a distance from the device. it is very easy to set up. You can network them or use them separately. They work great!!
