I got two of these for Christmas and I LOVE the studio pairing. The sound is amazing

I bought this HomePod Mini to control my smart devices. It works great to turn off the lights. I have a Google home and SIRI does a better job controlling lights and answering questions. For example, when asking SIRI what day today is, it tells you the day of the week and the numeric day, which I care about. Google home just replies what day of the week it is.

Great sound for a small footprint. SO I got another one to use for a stereo sound.

The sound is great and I appreciate the iPhone integration. But so far Siri is not as sophisticated as Hey Google. I end up asking Google to complete more home automation tasks. Also HomePod mini tends to steal Siri interaction from my phone when I’m in another room or the door is closed. Very annoying to wonder why my phone isn’t working, only to realize Siri is talking to me from the living room and I can’t hear it.

Great speaker! Working with Siri is a great help, I prefer it 5x over Alexa!

Sound is pretty good for a speaker this size. Unobtrusive in room and allows us to get closer to whole-home audio. So far, so good.

great clear music. Plenty of power and has siri so it's great for an alarm clock.

The product works beautifully. The sound is really surprising. I also enjoy arguing with Siri. The One draw back is that it requires an I-pod, I-phone, or I-tablet to set up - and cannot be set up with any other apple device, or if this is your only apple device. I had to borrow a friend's I-phone to set up the device and have some of my functionality limited as a result, but I bought it to play music and keep timers - so, it works enough for me. I am sad that it does not work with the other things apple makes or as a stand alone apple product. I don't like the I-phone, I-tablet, and have no use of an I-pod... so the fact that they chose those to be paired with it, seems odd to me. And I actually DO own a MacBook that I use for work and drafting articles. Sadly, Apple missed the concept on fore-thought with this item. The only hard part about setting up this thing was finding someone with an I-device I could use.

Love this mini HomePod. It’s great for my room. Turn on the lights great.

This speaker has definitely exceeded my expectations. Setup was straightforward and quick with my iPhone 6s. The sound is better than everything I listened to under $500. My only complaint is the volume levels don’t reach that high but is more than loud enough for apartments and small to medium size rooms.

It was a gift for somebody who was visually impaired. I tried it myself and it works okay but the best part is the sound, sounds beautiful. For a visually impaired person there is a lot of glitches with voiceover and siri. There are times that the music is paused on the phone and without touching anything or using voice, the music plays automatically later on. I hope apple will fix the problems with voiceover.
