works well, but if trying to control a smart home there are quite a few items that cant connect

Sound quality is not as great as the original HomePod, but excellent quality for price. Much better than Amazon Echo dots.

If you are an audiophile and an Apple user who utilizes Apple Music or HomeKit, this is the prefect addition to the house. I have 4 of them all over the house and they make for an excellent sounding speaker (you can use them for phone calls too) and as an assistant. You can also find 3-party apps that will let you stream music from Spotify/Pandora to your HomePod.

Amazing sound for the size, but Siri seems to be lacking in some ways. If you are an Apple person this is definitely the speaker to get.

Really impressed with the sound quality. It seems to have the ability to fill a room with sound from any location in the space. I love the look as well. Have had a few quirks where it won't sync the music with the other HomePods to create the same music throughout. When it occurs I unplug all the devices to allow them to reset. Doesn't happen often and hopefully a software update will fix it.

Overall sound quality pretty good for its size. No reason why they can’t make it rechargeable portable. Value only worth it if you can find it on sale in my opinion.

Apple products may cost a little more but they are totally worth it!! This little gem has amazing sound for such a compact speaker!!!

Love the sound and how easy it works! Siri is super responsive

Got two of these and although it took a while, they now act in stereo when I play music from my phone. The sound is the best of any "Portable" speaker system I have tested and the stereo fills a very large room and deck around my pool. Excellent. Siri can be quirky but is also helpful for minor tasks allowing me to change volume with my voice and set alarms for grilling and just about anything else with ease.
